The food was pretty good. The only problem I saw, was that the 2 waitresses seemed to not want to be there or hate their jobs. Maybe they just were having a bad day, it happens. Neither were rude, just not too friendly. The food is worth a stop though.
One of those little country cafes with great service and good food. Visited during their Saturday seafood buffet - all you can eat. Boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, broiled shrimp, shrimp cocktail, fried catfish, fried frog legs, and several sides, plus salad bar (a little skimpy) and dessert. I think they have seafood buffet on Fri night as well.
What a nice treat - stopped in to try the lunch buffet - greeted warmly right at the door and the young woman shared the offerings on the lunch buffet and asked if we preferred to try something from the menu. We told her we wanted the buffet and she showed us where to pick up a plate and salad bowl and there were so many nice offerings - meats and 3 or 4 veggie dishes and rolls and a small salad bar with nice crisp items and chilled to perfection! The food was prepared very well...
