This little gem is known mostly to locals, from the outside it looks as if it's ran by dot not the feather... please overlook this as the inside has that hometown country appeal and feel. The food is really tasty and has kept me trying to go back, but at this point I have to say SOMETHING. Every single time I call to order food the girl on the other end is beyond rude to me regardless of me trying to be polite and concise with my order. I don't understand my luck with always getting my call received by her but it has legitimately been 4 times now and it just makes me feel so confused and embarrassed as I have no idea why she is so unkind over the phone. Just wanted to put this out there because that worker is genuinely driving away business, not just from me but also my friends and family who eat in the area and have heard how she is over the phone. Again, the food is great and I hate to leave such a poor review, but it must be said.

As is the case in many Texas towns, the best restaurant in Zephyr is housed in a gas station. Great burgers (with cheddar cheese! 👍) and fries, slow, but friendly, service.

Service and food were outstanding and it's a good place to spend lunch or dinner time.
ordered chicken fried steak to go , picked it up , got home opened it and fries covered the bottom of the container , chicken fried steak was just thrown on top of the fries and there was no gravy. Called to discuss the problem , person we needed to talk to was busy we were told they would call back , that was Friday and here we are at Monday and still no call back , we order from here quite often but we will not be doing so again.
