Oh my goodness!! These Doughnuts equally rival Krispy Kreme. The glazed twist I got - the doughnut itself was fluffier and just better tasting than Krispy Kreme, by a fraction, though the glaze was slightly less than Krispy Kreme, but ONLY by a FRACTION!! These doughnuts are FREAKING amazing!!! And the service was great too, super friendly and prompt! Krispy Kreme, in my mind, WAS the God of Doughnut-dom. I was a Doughnut Monotheist. Now I am a Doughnut Polytheist. Also this location is practically right down the street! 1,000% will be coming here from now on.

The donuts were good but just a really small selection which was fine. It’s the atmosphere and service that makes me hesitate to come back. The shop is filled with passive aggressive signs, about how and when to eat your donut, only putting daylight donut trash in their cans. The lady working was very unfriendly towards my kids. And raised her voice when he accidentally hit the light switch. I was quick to help him fix it but her reaction was extreme. Especially when there wasn’t another soul in there. There are cobwebs and other dirty areas near the bathroom. I just feel like this place needs a facelift, and friendlier staff.

Kid-friendliness: Not super kid friendly.

if you can get there early enough, ABSOLUTELY GO. some of my best summer memories include my friends and i grabbing daylight donuts. i took my boyfriend and he said they were some of the best he’s ever had! the interior is small and plain but tidy enough. i hear rumors of service being iffy, but have only experienced polite and pleasant interactions myself.

Better than average donuts. Go early, they are better and they might be gone later. Filled anything is the best. And maple bars. Omg, I need to go back already.

10:00am We wanted to get a snack. A Daylight Donut sounded really good. My buddy wanted a diet mnt dew so we stopped at the gas station first. I also grabbed a bag of Cheetos. We walked into the donut shop that was dead empty. I saw the exact donut I wanted, a custard filled with chocolate frosting. The lady was very rude and hostile and told me I can not order a donut with outside food.I said I did not know that eating Cheetos was offensive. I asked her if she sells Cheetos and she said no and then she asked me to leave.I just wanted to buy a donut and she threw me out of her store.I know this sounds made up but it is 100% true. This lady is out of her mind.

So tasty!! I love the selections and you can’t go wrong. My favorite is the apple fritter. It is so fruity and tasty and perfectly cooked. There may be a line when you get there, especially on weekends, but that’s because everyone else already knows it’s the best. Just be patient, let your mouth water as you contemplate whether you shouldn’t just get an extra dozen, and soon it will be your turn. It will be worth the wait.

We love donuts in our family—easily one of our top 5 favorite treats. We took our kids on a family bike ride to grab a dozen at this Daylight Donuts location and we were fairly pleased. Here are the reasons for the 4-star review.

Let’s start with the good: the donuts tasted good to us. They had a large variety and a couple of donuts that I would say are more rare to find at certain donut shops (2 of those being a fruity pebbles sprinkled donut and a Oreo sprinkled donut). Their peach filled bear claw was fantastic! They had some seating available to eat some of your donuts before you head out and take the rest home. They also had a huge community board/wall which we loved—nothing like supporting the local people and companies that are nearby your business. They also serve BYU Creamery ice cream (although at the time of day we were there it did not look like they were serving it).

Now for the improvements: I feel bad for the lady that was there boxing up donuts, it seems like she gets a bad rap on here but she was a bit grumpy. She actually yelled at my kids because they were standing on the benches and looking at the picture on the wall (to be fair my kids know better then to stand on benches, but it’s a donut shop for Pete’s sake—calm down donut lady). The shop itself was a bit dirty (just as many have mentioned) but we honestly didn’t care that much. Overall it didn’t have that incredibly warm-homey feeling you get when you go to a donut shop.

Hopefully this describes the why behind the 4-star review. I will happily go back here—tasty donuts, great variety of items, slightly grumpy service with a need to tidy up, but overall a good experience. Thanks for filling our bellies with too much sugar!

These donuts are awesome, much better than Krispy Kreme. You don't get to watch them being made, and they're closed usually by noon, but there's just something about the dough that makes these super tasty, even at noon, they're still good.
