If you're looking for a small town diner that caters to locals and truckers that serves good sized portions at a relatively reasonable price, but that isn't some sort of national chain or some hip boutique place, then you have found it in El Bambi Cafe and Truck Stop.
I was looking for a good diner for breakfast and the internet had showed me I should go to Crazy Cow. Which honestly looked a little hipper than what I was looking for. But I was delighted to drive past this wonderful diner and stop there instead.
The service was prompt and friendly and the food was very good. The menu is exactly as you would expect, as are the prices - which is unfortunate given this ongoingly bad and unhealthy economy.
I would suggest a little more salt in the potatoes. But otherwise they were cooked very nicely wnd were crispy and enjoyable. The eggs were also done very well. I quite enjoyed the hearty pancakes.
I recommend this place. You should go here.
