Having identified Bluff as a ideal stop between our journey from Moab to Monument Valley, we chose Canyon Smokehouse as our place for dinner that evening. After a full day of driving in and out of national parks, we arrived at the restaurant tired and hungry. We were greeted with such stunning hospitality by the owner (who's name I have shamelessly forgotten!); who immediately made us feel welcome; took our order; and showed us to our seats. The food was absolutely fantastic - especially the meats (between us, we had the Ribs, Brisket & Chicken Thigh and struggled to pick a favourite!) - and the selection of homemade BBQ sauces on offer was fantastic. We ended up having a lovely chat with the owner before we left, and learnt a bit more about the restaurant (having only opened in March of the pandemic). Such a great experience - an absolutely gem hidden away in Bluff!

After visiting the Grand Canyon this morning, this was the perfect way to end the day. The ribs and brisket are amazing! Tender, and the perfect smoke flavor. Erin was friendly and welcoming, and came around to check on us. She offered us some peach cobbler to wrap up the meal. Everything was incredible!

Our visit to the Canyon Smokehouse was delightful! We needed a quick bite after traveling all day, and did not want to sit down and be waited on. This was perfect. After you place your order at the counter (incredibly friendly staff!), they call you up to the counter (or drop your food off in most cases) when it is ready. I had the brisket nachos and hubby tried the brisket sandwich. My kids had a french dip and mac n cheese. The portions were HUGE. The food tasted amazing. There was a deep, smoky flavor to the beef and the mac n cheese was super creamy. If you are in Bluff, you should stop here. Be prepared- you will have leftovers- no way you can finish it all in one sitting.
