We stopped on June 22nd for an early dinner and the service and food was wonderful. Unfortunately, that was the last week for Cottonwood. We were informed that it was closing on Saturday as it was sold.

We watched the lady chef cook our steaks on the grill on a boiling hot evening here at Cottonwood Steakhouse. Friendly service with good food. Not a lot to choose from in Bluff. Not the cheapest. You can eat outside on the patio as well.

Delicious, perfectly grilled steak, potatoes, really excellent roasted carrots with a nice, fresh mixed salad, AND the best cherry pie we've ever tasted! Move over, Grandma!

During our three night stay in Bluff, there were very few choices for dinner. We chose the Cottonwood Steakhouse on our first evening. We were seated after a brief wait. The menu features several different steaks and a good selection of bbq'ed meats. The bbq sauce added a lot of flavor to my brisket and pulled pork, and was a great addition to my wife's grilled pork chop, which was a bit on the dry side. This restaurant does serve beer and wine. Prices are on the high side, but everywhere in Bluff has high prices. There is a large outdoor eating area, but we chose inside, as it was over 90 degrees at dinner time. There are not many choices for dinner in Bluff, and the Cottonwood Steakhouse in a solid choice.

We waited for 20 minutes or so to get in-- (not bad--the only game in town that day and they were busy). The host kept forgetting my name- finally got seated---and then moved so a wheelchair access could come in (fair enough)--- and a half hour AFTER all that we weren't even acknowledged by the wait staff. Got up to mention that to the host and he just shrugged like "what's the big deal?"--- we left.

Had steak. Not bad. My husband had BbQ pork. Said was a little dry, just had to add more sauce. Large enough portion to carry out. Service was good, not fancy. Casual clothes was the way to go. Would probly ho back

An unexpected treat! After hiking in Canyon lands, we were headed towards Arizona & found this wonderful restaurant along US 163. They had indoor and outdoor seating! My husband and I shared a plate of ribs which was accompanied by a fresh salad, seasoned carrots, fingerling potatoes, and a bread basket. We couldn’t resist sharing a piece of homemade cherry pie ala mode! Such a delicious meal and the staff was so friendly! Don’t pass this place by!!!

Outstanding food, comfortable atmosphere, very good service. Ate here back in late October because it was the only option I could find. This time I brought my wife to Bluff and we ate here both nights we were in town. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. We chose indoor both nights because it was a little cool and breezy. Food is cooked outside and on the second night by the time it was served to us it was no longer piping hot, but still delicious.

Extremely extremely poor service. We requested to sit outside and there were at least 10 empty tables. They put our name on the list (first on list) after 20 min someone came. He then checked to see if all those on waiting list were still waiting - calling each persons name out. Then he went away for 10 min. Finally he came and we got seated. No waiter came for another 15 min to even ask for what we wanted. The food was so so and entire service matched matched what was described above. Skip this place. The only reason this place survives is because there are so few restaurants in the town.
We are visiting the area and heard about this restaurant at our hotel. The outside is unassuming, when you walk in the interior is clean and designed with local flair that is very appealing. Our waiter Reed had the balance of being friendly and professional, he was a pleasure to meet. The food was just fabulous! I had the Smoked BBQ Brisket, the best I've ever had. My husband had flatiron steak and he loved it. I would highly recommend the Cottonwood Steak House.

We ate here our first night in Bluff and decided to try the BBQ. There are 4 options, ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork. They offer a combo plate with your choice of 2 items. So, my wife and I ordered 2 plates with all 4 of the choices. They came with salads, roasted carrots and potatoes. Not the best BBQ we've had; but, it was good. There sauce is a little sweet for our taste and they don't have a spicy sauce. Otherwise, a good dinner. Beer and wine is available

What a gem in the middle of nowhere! A very quirky, but unique place, with ridiculously friendly staff, and great food! Everyone I encountered, even other customers were just a delight! The outdoor seating reminded me of a family reunion. Everyone was having a great time, including the animals! I absolutely, highly recommend stopping here for a great meal, experience, and to be treated like family. But not your real family, they're usually jerks.. Well, mine are... The gentleman who took my order, who has been twhre for 21 freaking years, was just Ray of sunshine on a dark, cloudy, and sometimes rainy night. He was very helpful, super knowledgeable, and very engaging. All of the staff was. I can only assume that is the secret to their 26-year success! If you are anywhere near this one-horse town, or in Southern Utah, you HAVE to go here. I don't know if I'll ever be this way again, but if I am, I promise I will eat here! You should too!

Neat fun place recommend by our neighbor so we planned our trip to make sure we could eat here. Steak, ribs, shrimp all good. Dessert is homemade pie! Excellent! If you’re in the area, stop by.

Fantastic dinner!! We were camping in the area for one night. We got 2 take out dinners and they couldn’t be better. Thanks y’all for a great meal! If we are ever in the area again, we will be back! Large portions, tender ribs with all the fixin’s!! Delicious!!
