I grew up eating here, but in the last few months the service has been horrible, we went here to eat and got a el matador and a santos- my santos enchilada was 1/2 the size of an el matador enchiladas ( both corn enchiladas) both plates had so much grease we couldn’t eat our food. I complained to the manager and was told that this was normal- asked him to take it back and he gave me a $2 discount but I had to pay for food i wasn’t able to eat . They just lost a 40+ year customer. Very sad but worse experience ever!!! Won’t be back

This was my first time here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service was fast. The food was great! I love Tex-Mex food and this was very appetizing and appealing. I had more than enough to eat. I plan on returning.

We had the seafood burrito a few months ago and it was great snowcrab big shrimp and lot's of cream sauce. Talk about bait and switch we had one today 4 smallest size shrimp you can get no snowcrab and the fake crab didn't taste like crab. Very disappointed in them I have known them for better quality food than that. I don't recommend and won't be back. 98% of my reviews are 5 star not this time.

We loved the ogden el matador (now closed), we love the bountiful one too. The never ending free salsa and chips are so delish and always get a side of cheese with it. Usually get enchiladas or tamales, but the Bravo burrito is always yummy since it has the meat of your choice plus rice and beans inside the burrito. My favorite is the sasparilla bottles or the pina colada specialy drinks or the horchata is amazing too. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms.

Very nice atmosphere, however food was just ok. I was given about a quarter size of sour cream and guacamole and when I asked if I could get a little more sour cream they said they would charge me for it even though I ordered a big combo meal with a small dollop of condiments for it. Very stingy.
