Good food, great service. Was really loud but that is to be expected.
The sushi and miso soup were great. I didn't enjoy the salad.
I ordered take out here twice and the first time it was fine but unfortunately I picked up a roll there Monday and got food poising symptoms not long after, my stomach is still wrecked almost 6 days later. Looking back I should have know I could only eat half of the roll because it just didn’t taste very good/was not fresh tasting. I had to postpone a vacation and everything. I unfortunately won’t be coming back!
We have a business for a group of 10, and we were being taken care of regularly, quick delivery of the food and drinks. The food was very well prepared and presented.
Not sure what his name was but the manager on April 28 was awesome super friendly guy
Deserves a raise
Fat Fish is hands down our favorite place for both sushi and pho in Utah! We’ve tried a lot of places over the years, and nothing even comes close. The quality, flavor, and freshness of everything on the menu are unbeatable.
Whether we’re craving perfectly made sushi rolls or a hot, flavorful bowl of pho, Fat Fish is our go-to every time. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the service is consistently great.
I recently had dinner at Fat Fish Bountiful with a coworker. The atmosphere was nice—very chill and laid-back. It did take about 10 minutes before we were greeted by a server, which felt a bit long, but she was super friendly and apologetic, so no hard feelings there. We had already picked out our food by then.
I ordered the Spider Roll and the Ceviche Plate (from the Secret Menu), while my coworker went with the White Rabbit, Maui Wowie, and Low Rider rolls.
My coworker's picks:
Low Rider: Hands down, my favorite of the night—even though I didn’t order it. The flavor was well-balanced with a nice kick from the jalapeño sauce, and the green onions really popped.
White Rabbit: Also solid. Good texture and flavor.
Maui Wowie: It was alright. A bit sweet for my personal taste, but I could see others enjoying it.
My picks:
Spider Roll: Pretty basic. It wasn’t bad, just not memorable. I’ve had better versions elsewhere.
Ceviche Plate: This was the biggest letdown. I was excited to try something different at a sushi spot, but it ended up tasting like a plain fish mix you'd find in a poke bowl. There was none of the citrusy brightness or spice you'd expect in ceviche—no noticeable lime, cilantro, or spice. I ended up asking for lemon wedges to try and bring some life into it, which helped a little but still didn’t make up for the lack of flavor.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Nothing terrible, just a bit underwhelming on my end. My coworker, on the other hand, loves this place and eats here every time he’s in town for work—so clearly, it hits the mark for some people. Maybe I just didn’t order the right things.
Would I come back? Possibly, but I’d skip the ceviche and try more of the rolls next time.
The secret menu had great rolls with unique flavors that i have not had elsewhere. The meat was cold and fresh a sign of good resturant management. Would enjoy going again. We ordered the Secret Roll and Sweet n Sour Harmony.
Amazing 😁 thats all I can say. I love this place, staff is fantastic .It feels like hanging out with family and friends they make you feel at home and serve such tasty food.
We eat here a hand full of times a year. Food is always excellent and I have never had a complaint. Tonight we ordered take out and our order got messed up Im guessing with someone else's. That being said I was over whelmed by the service. I give these guys a 10 star for what they did tonight! Excellent place to eat and staff is on top of it!

Hmmm this place is amazing. Tuna was the best i have had in utah. Fried rice was super fresh and yummy. I can't wait to go back. Danny was wonderful also
We had a large party and everyone was so happy with the table, our server, and the sushi was really good.
Celebrated my husband's birthday. We had a party of 18. They were great getting us seated and served. We got a variety of sushi Rolls, bento boxes, and pho. The calamari was awesome.
My friend and I stopped here for dinner. The restaurant didn't seem too busy. Our waitress was really friendly and nice. Unfortunately there was some kind of delay in the kitchen and the sushi took extra time to make. Also the heat was off and it was a little chilly inside. The food, when it did eventually arrive, was very good.
It was ok. Would I go back? Yes, however, I would read the menu more careful. Some of the I gradients on our sushi rolls weren't listed. The sides were wonderful however
