Came here once when we moved to bountiful. Not that good
Their pizza was delicious. They are now permanently closed, and their building is going to be demolished and replaced either a hotel as of last night.
We went to Robintino’s in Bountiful today, and it was their very last day open. Even though they were running out of some items, everyone there was incredibly kind and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond the server was friendly, the manager was very nice, and the pizza guy even gave us complimentary pizza!
The food was amazing the pizza, salad, and pasta were all so good, just like always. It made us even sadder to know this was our final visit. I went with my wife and kids, and we all felt the warmth and care from everyone working there.
Thank you, Robintino’s, for so many great memories and delicious meals. You’ll truly be missed. ❤️

Love this place
I used to eat here back when the original owner were here. The food was amazing the service was amazing.
Now the service is not great. The food is so different it’s not good. I’m used to getting a nice big salad with my little pizza and now it’s barely a salad. And the garlic bread and bread sticks are not good.

When we pulled up the outside of the restaurant looked terrible. Lots of tall weeds. Has not been maintained. Our favorite waitress, Cindy, took great care of us. She always does. The food was okay. They have made some changes to the breads ticks and garlic bread. Had no 1000 Island Dressing which is so yummy. Very disappointed in that. Not many people dining there. From the looks of things I doubt they will be in business much longer. That would be a shame! 😪

This place has been around forever and has always had the reputation of being the local dive Italian place. If you’re the kind of person who likes to dunk everything in ranch then welcome home. Pasta cooked so poorly it’d make an Italian grandmother renounce the Pope out of disbelief in such cruelty. The word al dente mystifies staff, and cooks alike here. Pasta sauce so acidic I’ve looked into making a solvent with it. Place has always been dirty and gross. Not sure where the legend of it ever being better comes from. For price in this modern era you’re better off at an Olive Garden.
This place has always been known as a haunt for people without taste. It’s a mystery to many who live here how it’s been kept open. The clientele are exactly who you’d expect.

After our visit this evening, I decided to check on the reviews to make sure it was not just my family. I concur with many of the recent reviews. I too have childhood memories of Robintino's dating back some 40-50 years ago as well as a more recent visit from a year or two ago at their newer location which was fine (a year or two ago). Since we were in Utah, I felt it would be fun to go there for dinner. We arrived just after six. I was not sure if they were open with only a couple cars in the parking lot and the building looking abandoned from the outside. The waitress was the positive as she tried her best (though she seemed surprised shrimp pizza was on the menu). The pizza (my favorite Shrimp pizza has been #15 on the menu since I was I child some 50 years ago - and other than making it myself, I'm not aware of anywhere else that offers shrimp pizza) was not so good - it just didn't taste right. My children said the bathrooms were scary. You can judge a restaurant by their bathrooms. I suppose it was similar to the feeling from outside - and it isn't even Halloween. I too feel sad that this restaurant is no longer the place it use to be. From five stars as a child to one star now. My family and I bid thee an everlasting farewell Robintino's.

Updating this to reflect the changes that I've seen with my most recent visit, as the last time I posted a review here the restaurant was under different management.
When I first pulled in, I honestly thought the place had been shutdown because their sign looked weathered, and the plants were either overgrown or dead, not to mention the parking lot was devoid of people despite it being prime time for dinner rush for 6 o'clock on a Thursday. I sat in the parking lot for probably 5 minutes scrolling social media trying to figure out if they were open or not, and honestly I was debating getting out at all or just going home. They used to be so sharp and clean with their outdoor environment and it always felt so homey, especially with their little rock garden/waterfall where you could throw your coins in - but now it's dried up and no longer runs, and looks unkempt, which was sad to see.
They were, in fact, open as I found out. My server was very kind, and since the restaurant was empty when I got there I was able to be seated immediately. She got my order quick and brought out my food in a spaced amount of time where I felt like I could still eat and enjoy it without feeling rushed, but still bringing it soon enough so I wasn't left wondering where my food was.
The food itself was still good, but definitely not what it used to be. You obviously get the complimentary bread at the beginning, which didn't taste much different, however the ranch tasted a bit different to me (don't know why exactly). I ordered a lemonade, and it tasted more bitter than sweet, which was fine but it still was kind of sad. I ordered their garlic bread, two slices, and that I noticed had actually seemed to improve in quality. It was super tasty, practically melted in my mouth but still retained that chewy bread quality. Then I got my main course - just a simple burger and fries. I noticed that the bun seemed almost stiff or stale and was falling apart just from being picked up, and the meat didn't have as much flavor as I remember used to loving so much. Having it with ketchup and ranch helped, but not by much. I then finished with a little Apple Crisp, which was actually pretty good, and a nice way to top off the meal. I'd give it a solid 4/5, mostly for nostalgia's sake since I've been coming to this restaurant literally since I was a little girl (almost 2 decades or so) so I love this place very much, and want it to thrive.
Overall 4/5, still recommend for pretty good food, good atmosphere and friendly staff, but I'm not as enthusiastic as I used to be.

It’s so sad to see what has happened to this place. It is a piece of my childhood and was one of my favorite restaurants all growing up. I even had a bridal shower here 4 years ago. So many memories here.
We stopped by last night and couldn’t believe how it looked like an abandoned building. It truly upset me to see the lack of pride on the appearance of the outside. It’s no wonder they don’t have any business. Nobody wants to go into a building that has weeds growing 3 feet in the air. My husband went to the door to see if it was open. It was and we went in. The feeling of the whole place is sad and creepy. I am not sure how they will make it. Our waitress was so nice and it made us feel bad for everyone working there. Thankfully, the salad was just as good as I remembered it. But my MIL ordered the fettuccine and it was horrible. Pizza was pretty good but the sausage is definitely different. I was very disappointed in our bill- but without business they have to nickel and dime you just to stay afloat.
The place has so much potential and could be super cute and quaint. It’s so sad to see the lack of pride.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food delivered and i started to eat the salad which I shouldn't have. The lettuce is so brown, and worse than wasting 20.00 would be getting sick. I had gotten the fettuccine Alfredo dinner, and I've never had Alfredo that gross before at least the sauce. After 2 bites i felt nauseous. It was like a thick water flavor taste. I used to eat here frequently years ago, so that being said didn't think it would be a problem food wise having it delivered. Had i been in the restaurant I would have politely ask for a new salad and a different entre. Maybe they send the bad stuff out for delivery although bad food should not be sent out. I would be very cautious especially ordering salad. I tried adding a photo of the food, but it's not allowing me.

I wish I could leave a positive review as Robintino's was such a staple growing up and it always seemed to be a thriving place. I know longer live in Bountiful so I looked forward to eating here. The empty parking lot and neglected landscaping should have been a my first sign that something wasn't right. The place was nearly deserted inside the food was far below what I was accustomed to. The breadsticks were stale, the bleu cheese dressing is not the same, the sausage is not the same, etc. So, so, sad. Two stars because I hate leaving 1 start reviews and also because the staff was friendly and attentive.

My husband and used to eat here all the time. We have since moved away but stopped in to eat lunch on our way through. It did not disappoint! The food was excellent, as always, the service more than terrific and the atmosphere as we remembered it. The prices were also surprisingly great. We both highly recommend this old and new favorite!

Was not up to their normal standards. Bread sticks were a little stale. Offsetting that, the lasagna was larger than previous visit.
