Taste of India Grill

This place has a buffet it’s close by. That’s the only reason why we have been there a couple of times however for Indian food it is not authentic. They do not use Indian spices. I believe the buffet was around $16. The sauces were really bland. I didn’t really care for it, but the price was right And it’s local but now that I found better places, I probably won’t return. Try the the buffet before 2 PM so you can see if you like it. That way you’re not paying high prices for individual meals.

The chicken tikka masala tasted like someone heated up Campbell’s tomato soup and whispered ‘India’ over it. Zero spice, zero soul. I’ve had spicier water. This is not Indian food—it’s a crime against flavor.

I've been to a lot of indian restaurants in Utah and I've cooked Indian food myself.
I came to Taste of India as a recommendation from a friend who came here a long time ago.

The food was very bland and tasted like canned tomato soup and meat.
I'm not sure if the flavor was intentional, but I was very disappointed and I only finished my plate because I had fasted for 48 hours before I ate.
Even so, it was tough to finish even when I was so hungry.

Really enjoyed the lunch buffet

They don’t now how to make customers happy I order daal makhni and roti that’s all they give like no supoon no napkin aslo when I tell them they not even sorry they said you have to add on order those things

Tandoori chicken and naan is amazing. I ate so much of it. Service is very nice. Kept the sodas full. Definitely going back.

Had a 10% off coupons when I came here to try the buffet. They told me I couldn't use the coupon even though nowhere on the coupon it said excludes the buffet. There was a buy one get one free coupon that says excludes buffet what the 10% was supposed to be off of any purchase. Don't advertise or do coupons if you're not going to honor them.

This is such average Indian food. We got the Garlic Naan, Chicken Coconut Korma, and the Pineapple Chicken, they were all fine. It was strange because the Naan bread was bland but the little flavor it had was really funky. The korma was fine but not very thick and very bland. The pineapple chicken was the best item but even that was a 6/10 at best. The restaurant was kind of nice if a little bland looking. The service was not the most friendly but at least it was fast. Everything about this place is meh. Another issue, there were bugs in the water I had so that was a big issue. There was also hair in the naan bread… I could fully understand why people might hate Indian food if they have only been here. If you are looking for Indian food in bountiful, go to Royal India on Main Street. Their food is miles better than this, as is their service, and atmosphere. They don’t run as long of hours but they are so much more worth a stop than this place.

Been here a few times now, for both dine in and takeout. It's hit-or-miss on quality and experience. Don't set expectations too high and you won't be disappointed.

I'd say overall, it's an OK quality meal. The amount of meat they put in their curry changes each time I've been here. But, when all the other restaurants are closed and I have an Indian food craving, I come here.

The service is always good.

If you haven't been here, you are missing out. The server was friendly and really pretty as well.

Made 2 separate orders to go. They put all the rice in one container and didn’t bother to label anything in the bag. Disappointing take out service.

Absolutely delicious food, very kind staff who were very helpful in every way. If you are used to spice then Hot=Mild :) they will help you find your proper heat 😁 we loved it!!!

Very disappointed .some friends and I ordered there , to be specific, we ordered motorrr paneer and shahi paneer , seems as if there were no seasonings or anything put in our dishes we ordered .very bland. For the money I paid , I expected better . They lost my friends and I as customers. .
