I have eaten at many different ski resorts over the years. Most are high price low quality. I have to say that this was absolutely the best meal I have ever had at a ski resort and rivals most restaurants I have been to period. All at a great price. Beautiful location and the staff was amazing.

Overpriced for medium quality. We ate here twice. Once excellent service and the other time poor. We had the sirloin steak and a caprese salad for about $60. The food was ok but not memorable - especially at these prices. There are not many options in Brian Head. We have had better luck at Pizanos or last chair bar at the Giant Steps Lodge.

Absolutely the worst service i’ve ever had in my entire life, we weren’t the only ones either. They would say we will seat u in ten minutes, but truly would be seated 40 minutes later, samw if you make a order for pick up, no hostility, no one to help you the front desk was constantly empty and when they come back they will say one moment and not come back. Not worth the $62 steak

Tried this place out for the first time, I thought it was great! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the pesto chicken pasta and the Mormon mule which were both great. But the best part was the cobbler for dessert! I’m craving more just thinking about it again.Kid-friendliness: Had a good kid menu with a fun activity and crayons like most restaurants have.

After a long day of skiing, me and my friends got super hungry. If you know what I mean, we went down to the bar area and there was a girl their working named Chanel, and she was the most gorgeous creature. I have ever laid my eyes on. She was friendly and socially perfect. The steaks were as advertised and the bar atmosphere was a blast. Great music and good time. Highly recommend.

Service was atrocious. Server made us feel like ingrates for having the audacity of ordering food. Drinks didn’t come until well after dinner was served. Bartender who was in charge of our drinks disappeared. And it was ridiculously expensive for mediocre food at best….$60 for 2 burgers and a flat Pepsi (wine was refused as it was attempted to be brought after diner was finished. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY and ruin a bit of your vacation.

Ordered the salmon and fell in love at first bite- delicious agave Dijon glaze similar to crème brûlée was a beautiful contrast to the softness of the salmon (which was cooked to perfection). Service was wonderful, I appreciate my server and the staff was always checking in, very attentive. Highly recommend the chicken quesadilla or overstuffed bacon and eggs as an appetizer, with the s’mores lava cake for dessert! Making this a regular stop!
Tried this restaurant twice - food is NOT worth the ridiculous price. Calamari breading was not fully cooked and Calamari was not recognizable as calamari - it was not rings, strips or tubes. Looked like tiny pieces of “offcuts”. Chicken quesadilla didn’t have tortilla cheese blend in it - it tasted more like Swiss cheese. Mango cobbler was not fully cooked & tasted raw. They charge $7 for a side of fresh carrots. Don’t waste your money.

We read the reviews, but wanted to try it out. Our server was very kind, but short handed. The food was awful. We got the chicken pesto and had only two small pieces of chicken. It was in dire need of salt and seasoning of any kind. The pasta had an odd texture as if left in a warmer for too long. We went to a different restaurant after wasting sixty dollars on two drinks and one entrée. We gave it a shot thinking the reviews were personal. It's just bad.

TLDR: Our amazing server could not save this place. Don’t waste your money, drive 15 minutes to Pizanos.First of all our server was AMAZING. She was fast, personable, and attentive! Honestly, best host I’ve met in a minute!However, at this price point we expected way more than what we got. The calamari seemed like it was heated up in a microwave (the sauce was pretty good). The margarita pizza had about as much flavor as a cardboard box, and was unappetizing enough that we went elsewhere for burgers after. It wasn’t even worth considering dessert.With a name like Double Black Diamond and prices on par with a downtown brewery company, we expected the ambience to be significantly less casual. At least Applebees dims the lights. Decor consisted of a pair of snow shoes, a pair of skis, and a tv playing the news.Conclusion: For a place that could easily cost a $100 to eat at for two, the food was a colossal disappointment. But whatever our server is making, she deserves a raise.
