I could smell the food whilst snowboarding this morning at Giant Steps. I didn't know what to order and asked the staff member at the desk to recommend something for when you are hungry but don't want to eat too much. He suggested the lunch deal of 2 tacos and soda for $9.94 (inclusive of tax). He then asked if I would like mild or spicy sauce with the tacos. I chose mild.
The tacos were delicious - I chose steak and pork. And went back for a third taco - chicken.
The food is healthy and fresh and not too heavy for a few more hours of snowboarding in the afternoon.

Very pleasant and fast attention.
Acceptable in flavors. I love that they have sopes and most people don't know what they are.
Drowned "flutes" have nothing flutes and drowned. They are just golden tacos with a touch of sauce!
More Mexican theme missing. And be careful not to include Tex-Mex food because they are selling it as Mexican.

I wanted this to be good bc the people working there were so nice! They were overworked bc the pizza place closed unexpectedly and so they were running out of food. That’s not what the review is about, unfortunately my carnitas were terrible. All they tasted of was salt and I tried to put pico and their sauces on it and it was just too salty to eat. And the rice was overcooked and the beans were watery. I don’t recommend coming here but since there’s not much else on the mountain you may not be able to help it.

We ordered chips and salsa, a california burrito, an al pastor burrito, a bean and cheese burrito, and a carne asada plate.
The carne asada meat was bone dry, full of gristle and so tough to chew it was giving me jaw pain. The bean and cheese burrito was full of unmelted cheese, which I think is unacceptable. The al pastor burrito was super salty and sauced up in a way we’ve never seen al pastor before…
The highlight of the meal was probably the chips with guac/salsa/pico which were at least fresh and hot. But it feels bizarre to be paying over $10 for a basket of chips at a mexican restaurant.

Last week was my first time Skiing Brian Head (Great Skiing) and after spending all day on the mountain I had worked up an appetite. I'm from Vegas so I take for granted sometimes the endless food options we have here.
Anyway, Rosales popped up in a food search as one of the places "near me" We ordered 5 combination plates, 2 asada, 1 three tacos and 2 cheese quesadilla combos.
The asada plate came with 3 tortillas so IMO the only difference between the meat plates and the 3 tacos plate is that one is build your own and the other is already made for you (no difference in price). Overall, the food was good. The only real complaint I have is I wish they had spicier salsa. If I'm ever back up that way, I would eat there again.

So UNwelcoming, no eye contact, the young man could not understand my request for a simple bean tostada, and didn't try. Then when I asked for a fork, he tried to make me feel badly 'fork w a tostada?' When I called him out on his rudeness he said he had right to refuse service... no doubt he started out w a Baaaad Day, Pitiful. No wonder the place was empty at lunchtime. W all this, the food can only taste 'sour' Avoid this restaurant - YOUR loss!

I'm not one to post negative reviews but after I saw this resturant had a 4.1 rating I thought it would be good, I was wrong. The service was horrible, my husband wanted water to drink and was told they had no cups, when I said there were Styrofoam cups behind the counter, he said they were for pop. When I tried to find out what some of the items on the menu were, the young man at the counter was annoyed. I think we were nothing but a bother to him, I'm sorry I tipped him. The food itself was just ok. It may have been a bad day for the help, but that does not excuse him treating customers poorly.

Tipped 20% at counter and wouldn't give us glass for water. Separated table so 4 could sit and right away told us to rearrange table before we left Mexican food sub par.
I really don't understand how this place has so many good reviews. My mom, daughter, and I ate here yesterday. The guy behind the counter was incredibly rude. When they gave us our food, I asked him for some salsa for my burrito and he let out a big sigh before asking if I prefer red or green. I told him and then he pulled it out of the fridge by the counter and instead of handing it to me, he slammed it on the far end of the counter from where I was standing. When we left,
I mistakenly dumped a plastic basket into the garbage...I didn't realize they were reusable. Maybe I should have, but they were pretty flimsy and I just didn't think about it. He had apparently been watching me because the second I did it, he shouted, "The baskets aren't garbage" and stormed over and got it out of the trash. Then he snatched the other tray out of my hands and said he would just do it. I'm guessing from his over the top reaction that it happens a lot... that's the only reason I can think of that it would have elicited such a response from him. He's sick of having to dig the baskets out of the trash maybe? So maybe they should have a sign by the garbage that the baskets are reusable? I guess maybe none of this sounds that bad, but you just had to be there. The intensity of his irritation was shocking. I don't leave reviews very often, but I couldn't believe how rude he was. He seemed angry that we were there.
I understand people have bad days, I've worked with the public and some days are rough....and I probably could have looked past his attitude if the food has been good, but it wasn't. I had a California burrito and it was pretty gross. Almost all the meat was inedible, it was nothing but fat and gristle, and the cheese inside the burrito was not just unmelted but literally cold. My mom ordered chicken tacos which were supposed to come with rice and beans, but she didn't get either and the guy was so short with us previously that she didn't want to bother asking for them. I tasted hers because I couldn't eat mine, and it was okay but the chicken was super dry.
I definitely would not recommend this place, will not be going again.

Really authentic flavors—we ordered for 16 people so we got some of everything and it was all super flavorful and the meats were really juicy and tender. Quick and friendly service. Definitely recommend if you’re in Brian Head!

The chips were burned, the food was tasteless, and we will never return. Very disappointed as we LOVE mexican food. ? Very expensive for bad food. My kids wouldn't even eat the fries.

I don’t know why this place isn’t more highly rated. Most everything was corn based so having a gluten allergy, it was wonderful. I wish they had margaritas in addition to their beer and seltzers, but the food was spectacular. The chips were hot and crispy, a tough find in Utah. I’m glad everything else was closed so that we wandered over here late in the ski season. Great tacos too.
