Worst service.Ordered Soup, Salad, and ROLLS.Received rolls before the meal like normal,Received our soup, then our salad- we asked for our rolls to go with our soup hence the reason we ordered SOUP SALAD AND ROLLS.My child’s hot food then came out, and again asked for rolls and was told that “We are really busy and I’m not sure I can get some but I will try”Then the server returned at the end of our meal to ask about boxes and to go since we had not touched our meal waiting of rolls, I then again asked to get rolls and was told “I can’t because we are busy” I replied “even though I order them with my meal I can not have them?” The waitress replied biting my head off that “she could not get me roll” and walked away.Then loudly behind the counter asked if one of the other girls could take our table because we were being difficult…The host eventually came over and gave us rolls we finished our cold soup and our cold gelatinous mashed potato’s.We then waiting another 10 minutes before we had to flag down another server to pay for our meal.We will not be returning.

My family has come here all of my childhood. The food has always been incredible. The new owners are more than welcoming and make you feel right at home. If you like homecooked comfort foods, this place is where you want to go! My mother and I had their trout and it was AMAZING! Chicken fried steak, heavenly mashed potatoes, warm rolls, etc. You can't go wrong. We have left satisfied every time we've eaten here no matter what we order.

A turkey steak is just a turkey steak -- unless you get one here! It was topped with an amazing blend of spices and was simply delicious!Fish and fries (hot and crispy) were also yummy.Love the homemade rolls.Great comfort food options, wonderful service, good price.

We've been going to the Idle Isle for over 30 years. The rolls and marmalade are the best. The new owners really try and make the customers feel welcomed and taken care of. The food feels like homecookin' and is so good. We love the atmosphere!
