Ate lunch here yesterday. Service was average diner service. My lunch, fish & chips. Was disgusting. Three wafer thin pieces if fish, couldn’t tell what kind, grossly over-breaded and greasy, overcooked. Fries were average, no spices or anything, just plain French fries, very, very little salt, if any. The other disappointment was the veggies I chose as a side. They arrived drenched in oil , overcooked and completely flavorless. I asked the server what the oily mess was and she said it was butter and seasonings. NO! I could not even eat them and they were only Luke warm to boot. You get more seasonings in a milk shake. I ate only about 1/4 of my meal, paid the tab and left. I cannot imagine why other people rate this place as highly as they do. But,, it was. Only one meal so maybe breakfast is better. Oh, and the floor needed cleaning as well.

An update from when we came last 10 months ago: If you like to eat in the heat, this is your place! When it's 86°F inside the restaurant and 94°F outside the restaurant, you may want to find a much cooler place to eat. Unfortunately, the restaurant was so hot, it made it uncomfortable to be there. They have one fan blowing, but didn't do anything to make it comfortable. The staff said the A/C has never worked. The food is good, but the environment made it so we probably won't go back until the owners can invest in some better cooling for their customers. It really was hot inside.
Excellent food and lots of it for the price. The service was even better with friendly staff. We didn't go anywhere else but All American Diner while in Cedar City because it's such a great value. We'll go back when traveling there again.

I love the new queue system... Go check in at host when you arrive, sit in car for a minute, get a text!!! I also love how it shows you where you are in line. Great service, great food! Always love going here!!

Overall a great standard food place. Prices are decent, proportions are large and our waitress was awesome. Food came out quickly. Only things I didn't care for was the sausage and bacon it was way overcooked and burned to a crisp. Also the seating is really packed in people kind of bumped into one another but that's to be expected for an older establishment and it didn't affect our experience much. If we are ever in Cedar City again and looking for a straightforward simple restaurant we will go here again :)

I met family there for a late breakfast. They serve breakfast all day which is my favorite meal. I ordered a stack of pancakes with two eggs. It was way more than I could eat. The waitress was very friendly and the cost was reasonable. I would eat there again.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp on the side of the building for wheelchairs.
We stopped at that diner on our way to Zion National Park. It was a nice place with a lot of locals. The pancakes were amazing, and the portions were huge.

Not sure what the normal process is, but we were seated, sat for about 20 minutes with no drinks or other form of service offered as people were brought in, and served drinks immediatly. After a rough day, really didn't rub right so we left. Unfortunately, the menu looked great, and I was really hoping to try some good comfort food in a friendly atmosphere. Didn't find that on a Sunday afternoon. Sad! Looks like it's not standard practice, so I hope to try again another time.

We were waiting at the host station before someone noticed us for 5 minutes. Then at our table for 15 and still hasn't been asked if we wanted drinks. We left. Don't go here if you want to be served. Maybe they just don't like people from out of town.
