I am impressed with Amber Kay’s. The atmosphere honors the mountains it sits in in Cedar city Utah and even the open sign is Americana. The tables have the logo embedded in them and they and the chairs are solid which is very refreshing in a diner!I had the Buckley Benedict without hashbrowns and with avocado slices. They don’t do lattes but as my server said the coffee is very good and there’s plenty of half-and-half! I will recommend this place and I will stop here again sometime when passing through. I live in CC and wanted to give this new restaurant a chance. The first time I was there I ordered something off the menu (chili cheese dog) and was told they did not have it. I tried them again and had the same problem (meatloaf). You better look online at the menu and call ahead to see if they have what you want. Not going back!

The food was amazing! My husband, my daughter and our dad enjoyed our meals. I had the hamburger steak combo. My husband had cornbeef hash. Our dad had the Philly. Our daughter had the pancake kids combo she enjoyed it. I only got a photo of my hamburger steak and our dad's Philly. Also the plus was our waitress was very generous and kind. She was patient while taking our order and checked in on us. She was wearing a Halloween sweater! I didn't get her name but she was very nice!! She also brought our order out so quickly. Thanks to the cooks!

We’re visiting from Texas, and Amber Kay’s cafe was the first stop we made for food! The environment is very homey, the staff were so nice, and the food was amazing! Special Thanks to Ms. Amber for showing us some extra love for my birthday!! She has such a genuine beautiful spirit! This place is a must if you’re in Cedar City!

Food was good and prices were decent BUT, they do not know how to balance the crowd and seating. For 2 people we waited about 45 minutes while multiple tables were open and seating at the bar. It was causing people to get very aggravated around us. I asked if we could sit at the bar and they said they would go down the list. They make you write it on a notepad and our name was skipped over 4 times, to sit other 2-3 people groups. Staff is friendly but, they need to adjust their system to accommodate.

Great food and atmosphere. Super clean. My husband had an omelet and French toast. I had chicken fried steak. So good.

Visiting Cedar City with family and came across this cute little place that cooks wonderful food, and kind people who serve your table. My grandparents and my Dad including myself cleaned our plates. I got the Eggs Benedict, and have to say it is easily one of the best I have eaten yet.
