Charlie's has delicious bbq, but I think they're permanently closed. When you call you get a recording saying this business isn't taking calls and their website hasn't been updated since they closed. I'm sorry to see them gone.
Here's the deal. This BBQ joint has earned best of state over and over and over and there's a reason. The food is downright excellent. Thing is you just don't expect to find such good BBQ in a small town like Cedar City. The burnt ends are always on point, the fry-chos are a must try (you can get them with cauliflower instead of fries if you want a "healthier" option) and don't pass up on the great assortment of sauces. Oh and did I mention the exceptionally friendly staff and reasonable prices?
My wife and I love this place. Whenever we want to treat ourselves, this is our first choice. Their cranberry BBQ sauce is so good! I highly recommend the Frychos, that's what we always get.
The food is always incredible. One of my favorite places in cedar city. Their fried pickles paired with their own smokey fry sauce is out of this world. All around top notch BBQ.
Asked for assistance in menu selection for delivery to nearby hotel. Very helpful, delivered to our door. Excellent food and service. Thanks
All the food is great... love the BBQ, smoked meats, tasty sides... always get a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving
Great food! Incredible staff! Clean and friendly atmosphere!
In always love this place. Southern BBQ, made fast, smoked well.I highly suggest it to anyone in town.
delicious tastes, delicious smells!
First off, no one in line and yet I still had more than enough time to go to the bathroom before they even acknowledged my son. Granted, they were working on a catering order, however, at least acknowledging the person in front of you is common courtesy. Secondly, yes they wore gloves, no they did not wash their hands when they changed their gloves. This is so major health department violation in any state. When the food got to my table, (note it took 7 min at least to reach the table and another ten for the other half of the order) it looked disgusting. The Caesar salad was nothing more than a bit of romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese shreds, croutons, what looked like either limp cucumber or zucchini and a little plastic dressing cup of Caesar dressing. The chicken looked underdone and fatty and a bit shriveled. The only things that were good was the fries (a bit cold though) and the drinks. The food was served cold including "the shredded pork just out of the smoker". Meat unless it is below 40 degrees is never supposed to be served cold for health reasons. I will NOT recommend this to anyone.

The food here is awesome! The staff is great as well. I notice great employees and today I was especially impressed with Katie. She was helpful with the menu, smiling and hustling the whole time I was there, cleaning tables and filling orders. Thank you katie!
Food is always excellent. Staff is friendly. The environment is great, you don't even have to put away your tray or trash!
Been 3 times since I moved to cedar. The brisket is really good and the fried pickles as well, but I’ve yet to try the ribs since they never have any. 12pm (lunch time) they weren’t ready, twice. 3pm don’t have any. Typically give places 3 strikes, but y’all get one more shot. Better have ribs ready for once.
Amazing BBQ! This is a MUST whenever I’m in town. Flavor, quantity and quality. You’ll be glad you stopped by!
Solid BBQ joint - giving 5 stars here because this was one of those unexpectedly tasty homages of southern comfort, in Cedar City of all places. The fried pickles were amazing! (Now if only they served ice cream with the peach cobbler)
