In Cedar City, IHOP is uptown Denny's. Table service has always been great for me. The chef is kinda hit or miss. For locals, we go to IHOP when everything else is closed -- which is often. Please tip the waitress else she can't tip her driver home.

Literally so rude. Came out thinking how I have never had a more unpleasant experience in food service. I placed an online order and reserved a time for over an hour later. Went in at exactly my time, and the hostess said that the food wasn’t ready and I would have to wait. I asked what time it would be ready so I could know when I could come back. She responded in a very aggressive way and raised her voice just told me to leave. I had to get my boyfriend to go back in because of that experience. I will never be coming back.
Edit: opened the food and there was hair inside. I called and they said the manager was on vacation and they don’t do refunds.

The food was pretty good but our server got angry with us as we left because we “didn’t tip”. All of us tipped above 20%, so we have no idea why she got angry, and we are very disappointed with the service we experienced.

They always take more then 40 minutes to make one order they just joke around in the back very unprofessional.

Online it said that IHOP was busier than usual but there were only 5 tables occupied. We had to wait about 15 minutes before getting our order taken and then over an hour for food. We arrived at 7:30pm and didn’t start eating until 9:00pm. The server was amazingly sweet and explained that there was only one cook. We had young children who were very hungry and waiting for so long was difficult. It would have been nice if staff said that there was a longer than usual wait for food before we sat. We also noticed that three other tables were seated after us and were served first. When we finally left at 9:10pm there was only a single top left. Yes our server offered us a discount but it was only 10%, which equaled $6. Not our best experience and probably won’t be going back for a long while.
