I eat here every time I am in Cedar City. They have a tomatillo cheese sauce that is really, really, really good. I mean it, it is really good.
My first time here and the service wa wonderful and the food was great. Could use a little more salsa when provided the chips and salsa.
I had the avocado burrito.

I guess we went on a bad night where they were out of several ingredients. As such, the food was not that great. Just a lot of shredded lettuce and beans. The beans and rice tasted as though they had been frozen and thawed so were a bit mealy. I might give this play a try again, but it wont be for awhile.
Staff was nice though and appreciate the friendliness!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant when visiting Cedar City. The day we were there, they ran out of chips because they had a big group earlier The chef took the time to make his own homemade chips and personally bring them out to us This is a great family business with excellent food and service Highly recommend

I’m sure it’s a fine place most of the time; but I’m visiting from Georgia and came in at 12:15 so I think the chips were from morning shift; very stale. The red salsa was lackluster, the green salsa was good though. And then we wanted cheese dip, I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t serve queso; and then the bean dip was literally just refried beans made extra hot (temperature wise).
The food was very good, but chips, salsa, bean dip, and lack of queso were a letdown. There was also a hair in my sour cream.

We went to Don Miguel’s, a family-owned restaurant, and the food was beyond amazing! From the moment we sat down, we were served chips with two different delicious sauces. I ordered the Don Miguel Special, and my hubby had the carne asada tacos, both plates were extremely generous in size and full of flavor, since it was a generous portions we shared with our little one.
We’ve been on a 7-day road trip and have eaten at so many restaurants, and we’re from Vegas where we try new spots all the time but Don Miguel’s wasn’t just the best of our vacation, it’s one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at anywhere. The service was absolutely amazing, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
If you’re in town overnight or you’re a local, this place is a must-try. The food, the atmosphere, and the family touch make it unforgettable, lets not forget the phenomenal margaritas. If we come back to Cedar City or Zion, we’ll absolutely be coming back here!

Don Miguel was a perfect end to our day. We arrived close to closing, but they treated us so kindly and as if they were in no hurry at all. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. We had chicken fajitas and pollo fundidos. The fundidos were outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Some of the best Mexican we’ve had anywhere. A must on any trip to the Shakespeare festival. The chille verde and enchiladas tricolores are really great dishes!

This was mine and my boyfriend's first time eating here. We live in New York and was looking for a Mexican restaurant. The food was above and beyond! The food has that true classic taste that's is flavorful but not too spicy. The portion sizes were huge with many rounds of chips and salsa. We 10/10 recommend Don Miguel's if you are craving Mexican cuisine.
