We came in on my son's 21st birthday. The bartender was super awesome! He gave us great drink suggestions and all of the drinks were great! Everyone was so nice. We had so much fun playing pool. We had a great time! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I've been to this bar a few times and generally enjoy the atmosphere, but tonight's experience left me pretty frustrated. I was having a great time, sipping on my beer, when out of nowhere, they start charging a $5 cover fee.
Now, I get that live music comes with its costs, but the timing just felt wrong. I was already settled in and enjoying time with my company before they slapped on this surprise charge, which honestly felt like a money grab. I understand the need to support the band, but at least let people know about the cover before they order drinks or get comfortable.
It's a shame because the place is usually fun, but this left a bad taste in my mouth--no one likes being hit with unexpected charges mid-drink. Definitely rethink how you handle the cover fees next time, or at least be transparent about it from the start. Sad to see 15 people get up and leave because of unexpected cover charges. As a local this isn't good.

I’m from Dallas, I am in town for work and wanted to go somewhere to have a drink and relax, this place is it! Service was a little slow, but the guys were good. This place is a Gem! Definitely my go to when in town for work!

For a music venue it's not the greatest set up. It is ok for a small town bar. Karaoke is fun and they have comedy night which is cool. I gave 3 stars because their bartender was a douche bag when i asked for simple things. Also, their venue is small and inadequate for the crowds they pull in.

Just had a couple of beers. One of the very few places open after a festival show! Has a classic dive-bar feel, in a good way, so don’t expect fancy. Has some local brews on tap, decent prices, good service when I was there (a quiet Tuesday in July).
Classic dive bar. For folks not from Utah, a lot of the peculiar aspects of this place are due to Utah laws. The pool tables are freshly felted and inexpensive, and the beer is always cold.
As a frequent visitor that doesn't live in the area, I like BBB. On one hand, its your only option for a real bar. But on the other, it's a darn good only option.
Parking: The parking couldn't be easier, something I'm not used to as a California resident. Bar has its own lot, and there's another free lot across the alley, as well as plentiful street parking

A typical biker bar with atypical service. We needed a drink and a quick bite after a long day in zoom. Sunday's in Utah don't leave many options but Blackbird was open. The bartender was attentive and very friendly, making sure we got everything we needed.
