Fast & friendly service and fair prices! My go to soda shop!

The shaved ice is not at all what it says. It's crushed ice, so more like an Icee. The flavored syrups seem to be of poor quality because they had very little actual flavor. Maybe bought off Temu? The Tigers Blood did taste like it was supposed to but severely muted. I think the ice machine needs to be cleaned because the ice tasted like warm water drank from an old tin can found by the railroad tracks. The girl that helped me was very nice and super quick and the only good thing about my visit. So I paid almost $15 for two cups of dirty ice lol. Classic Cedar.

The worst shaved ice I've ever had. I don't think it even actually qualified as shaved ice, just super chunky crushed ice with minimal flavoring syrup. Don't get the cherry flavor, it tastes like they rolled the ice around on the floor before crushing it up. I would have gone and asked for my money back but I didn't want to make the girls working there feel bad because they were super nice.

This is by far the best drink stop in town, they drink options are endless and the staff are always friendly. I go way more often then is healthy for me 😂

We LOVE Slurps up, that’s why I’m leaving a 5 star review. But— today (10/05/23) we planned to get sodas before our long trip up north. We pulled up with 10 min. before closing and the two workers were already in the parking lot about to get in their cars. We asked if they were open (again, it wasn’t even 9:00pm) and they said no and they wouldn’t make us drinks. We were so bummed. Usually when a store closes at a certain time, they do prep work before, but stay open until their actual close-time. The lights were off well before then and the workers in the parking lot.I know it sounds trivial and maybe a little silly, but we were really sad. My husband and I used to live in Cedar and during finals in undergrad and even during the first months of our first child’s life (when we were super sleep deprived lol), Slurps up was our place! Even the night before we got married, we went and got Slurps. This whole novel to say— we LOVE Slurps Up and would love to keep loving and recommending it to others. A soda shop is so easy — make great drinks and be open to sell them to people. Wish that could have been the story tonight!Again, I’m giving a 5/5 review because this is the very first time, out of many, that we’ve been disappointed. The girls said their boss is Mike and the one’s name was Persephone. Anyway, not meant to be a Debby Downer review, but we missed out on a little special moment that would have been so fun to have to remember the good old days. ?❤️
