The food is excellent and service is fast. Price is standard. If you don’t need fancy service, and like an authentic vibe, come here! We had the orange chicken and it had big pieces of chicken (not just filling) and the sauce was just the right amount of sweetness. Great place for a quick lunch as they are not closed fore dinner service!

The owner is a jerk. The food my dad and I was served probably qualified to shut that place down. When we brought it to the owners attention he just nodded and pointed to the door....disrespectfully. its a poor excuse for a Japanese restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant twice and I ha e enjoyed it both times. The service is good even though others might have said otherwise. I would definitely recommend this for those who are vegetarian because they have more options. Those who I have been with who had either chicken or beef did say they thought their food was good as well. Sometimes it can be hard to find good Asian restaurants and I think an added plus for this restaurant is that they have Japanese, Chinese, some Indian and Vietnamese. Good food at a great price too!

This place is disgustling dirty, I can't believe the health department hasn't done something. I went into the men's restroom, NO SOAP!!!! OMG the same restroom the employees use....Never have been back
Also when I have called in everything is 20 minutes, then you still wait when you get there.
If noted the owner has not responded to any of the online comments good or bad. Just totally greedy, take all you can!
We use to love this place, some of his first customers. Sad to see what they have done with it.

The food was flavorful and the portions were good. The only thing I would criticize is how dirty the restaurant is. Please get rid of the dirty carpet, wipe the walls, and dust the ceiling fans. Also the teens working look like they just came from school, no uniforms and they all had their phones with them.
We enjoyed the food, but the atmosphere mad us question how sanitary it was. I don't think we'll be coming back, who knows how dirty the kitchen is if the dining area is this bad.

Update (Nov 2025) - based on our last several visits, this once awesome restaurant seems to be going downhill, unfortunately.

We've taken friends here recently to show it off, to everyone's dismay.

The beef has tasted old, boiled (maybe?), and unseasoned in both the beef lo mein and beef & broccoli dishes (2 of our go-tos) the last few times we visited. We couldn't finish them (several adults and 5 children) and ended up throwing it out.

The General's and orange chicken was still decent, but not as good as we've grown to expect after years of coming to this restaurant.

We're hoping this is a temporary slum and not the new normal.

Previous review - I've been recommended this restaurant for a couple years now from many different people. I wish I'd have tried it sooner. Excellent sushi, the Chinese food is great, service was quick, food was fresh, price is right on par with similar restaurants. My family are new regulars here!

The place was nice yet the first thing I noticed was a employee coming out the restroom with a glove on still? I think he only used one hand and pretty sure he didn't wash any of them. My uncle asked for beer a Budweiser and he said no beer?!? I looked behind us and the lady had two?!? It even says Budweiser on the menu?!? We ordered and I went to wash my hands... so nasty inside there! The food came and my uncle bite into a little rock or shell. He honestly didn't care too much about it but I let the guy know he said sorry and meal is free. Then I asked for boxes and as I'm boxing up my cashew shrimp a bug started crawling from my side of the table to his side !?!? We didn't want to make a big deal because of the atmosphere was gentle and relaxing for others. So my uncle caught it on a napkin and told him this came out of the boxes. He was totally confused about what we were saying or was playing dumb now that I think about it and threw it away. He said I am so sorry and you guys can leave no payment necessary. It was a baby 🪳COCKROACH 🪳 🤢 my uncle said yup now everyones meal is Free 🤮 I really don't want anything bad to happen to this place bc people need to make a living yet at the same time I don't want anyone else to experience this here or anywhere else! So hopefully they read this and make some big changes. Because I know others would have went straight to the health department with all evidence in hand! The vibe is chill they have beer,(for certain ppl maybe girls only) sushi bar, and some TVs for sports. The guy was very apologetic yet 1st time and last time! See for your self if you don't believe me and others that say the same thing on here. 🤷‍♂️💩🪳🤮

Chinese food lovers BEWARE!
Got the General's Taos Chicken and a Snowbird Roll.

Snowbird came first. It was a recommendation from the half asleep waiter. It lists that it was 50% off from $16.50 to $8.25.

Out comes a very small/perite roll with mostly carrots and cucumber strips in it. Little pieces of Escolar that had an older smell on top with weathered piece of cilantro - Lame. Gimmicky ploy to get you to buy the sushi. It was half-ass sushi - not half off.

General's Taos Chicken -
I asked the waiter if it came with broccoli... No. It shows it in an online image of having broccoli. I asked to add it in. When it came out it looked like pancake battered fried wads of greasy chicken and way over cooked old frozen broccoli bits.

Strangely it had a few sparse pieces of fries wonton strips at the bottom along with a from the jar lifeless overly sweet sauce. Holy let down Batman!

$26 plus tip and I am completely culinarily underwhelmed.

This traveler's advice - Skip it.
