I used to do hair for this lady lived out of care center in Ogden. And she said her family owned this Philadelphia sub shop in Clearfield Utah so I went to try it. I never returned because the food was very plain with no flavor. The prices were really expensive and all you got was a sub sandwich. It definitely does not represent Philly steaks subs. Don’t waste your money.

Love this place. The small pepper Philly steak is just perfect for any adult. The tast is amazing. They let you customize it how you want it. You also get a free one after a punch card is done. I've been to many Philly steak restaurants in many states and countries and this is my top #1. 👌

Philly sandwichs are one of our favorites. This place has the best Philly sandwiches not just in town but in all the Rocky Mountains.

Friendly staff. Good size portions. Made fresh. The special house made spices are great. A good amount of heat but not so hot you dont enjoy the other flavors.

We have been coming here for over 10 years.

When I first stumbled across the Philadelphia Sub Shop, my hopes were sky-high. I thought, “Could this really be the place where I find a proper Philly cheesesteak in Utah? Or am I about to get another sandwich with shredded roast beef and a slice of Swiss pretending to be authentic?”

Well, color me impressed because this place actually comes awfully close to the real deal. I’ve had the genuine article at Reading Terminal Market in Philly, and while nothing beats standing shoulder-to-shoulder with locals yelling “wit’ whiz” at the counter, this shop delivers a cheesesteak that made me stop, smile, and say, “Okay Utah, I see you.”

Now, there’s one minor issue: they don’t use actual Cheese Whiz. And if you’re a purist, you know that’s basically sacrilege in Philadelphia. But hey, I get it, maybe Utah isn’t ready for liquid gold cheese product straight from the can. Baby steps.

As for sides? Don’t expect fries, onion rings, or some fancy aioli. Nope. You get… chips. Bags of chips. A glorious rack of crunchy, crinkly potato companions. Honestly though, you don’t even need them. These cheesesteaks are the right size, the right heft, and they’ll fill you up faster than you can say “Rocky Balboa.”

The staff? Extremely courteous and helpful. When I ordered my first time, they didn’t even laugh at me when I nearly shouted “One wit’ whiz!” out of habit. Instead, they just smiled kindly, like, “Bless his heart, he thinks we’re in Philly.”

Bottom line: If you’re in Utah and craving a cheesesteak, this is as close as you’re going to get without hopping a plane east. Just don’t ask for Cheese Whiz, you’ll get a blank stare and probably a bag of Doritos instead.

Used to be better years back but they skimp on the amount of meat in your sub now. Still great flavor but isn’t quite worth the price anymore.

Great sandwich I ordered a large steak mushroom provolone super good super customized on the toppings and sauce. Also order pastrami baby sandwich. I also figured out the large is HUGE and the baby is the perfect size lol but having left over isn’t a bad thing. lol great safe super friendly support local business! It’s worth giving a try!

Cute spot with the best subs and cheese steaks I've ever had. They just taste different than any other I've tried (granted I've never been to Philly or anything)

Only thing that sucks is it's way the hell in the middle of nowhere and I'm rarely up there. Wish they were closer to salt lake and I think even more people would go there because it's incredible food.

I've heard a lot of good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it was a fairly average Philly cheesesteak at best. The bread is soft, almost chewy. The steak is cheap tasting and underseasoned, the best thing I can say is that the peppers and onions were grilled perfectly and added a lot of flavor to the sandwich. I guess I was just expecting a bit more for the $14 price tag that came with a small sized Philly.
