My recent experience was not like normal, I was very disappointed.
We did the meal for 2 and they wanted to upcharge $3.50 to have shrimp as my one topping and only put 5 shrimp on the pasta 🙃 (70¢/dry shrimp??) and an extra **$10** for my husband to switch his pasta from a one topping pasta to a signature pasta, without explaining that to us. This is something we have normally done with little upcharge. The upcharges would be enough to buy a whole other signature pasta!!!
Luckily, the server just upped our military discount to covering the $10 upcharge 🙄
Server said she talked to the manager about it, but when we were checking out the cute girl manager said she hadn't heard about any of it??? It was the end of the night and the manager had been out and about, I'm not sure why our server hadn't actually talked to her.
I will probably choose to go to a different location when I have the craving instead of going to this one.

Great food, Kyndra is super kind and helpful. I appreciate that I always get good service. The bread twists are a personal fave as well as the creamy pesto.

Food is great but its all teenagers that work there so dont expect much for service. We stood at the front waiting for someone to seat us for 5 minutes with several other groups and the restaurant was pretty empty. I only saw a couple tables with people at them.

The Pizza Factory was disappointing. The pizza took an hour to get out and when it came out it was not very good. It looked and tasted like a frozen pizza you would find in the grocery store. Bathrooms weren’t clean at all. The men’s toilets did not flush. We had 2 kids with us and they gave them a coloring book with no crayons or anything to write with. When I asked for some, we were informed they were out. The Pizza Factory used to be a favorite spot for dinner. Things have obviously changed. The one bright spot was the breadsticks.

Very sad to have to post this. My son and I would come to this place on a regular basis for our mom and son dates. Tonight I decided I wanted to come and get take out while my son was away because this place has the best salads and bread twists of course. The girl at the front who took my order gave major attitude as if it was an inconvenience she had to do her job. Another customer already left a bad review about Harrison laughing at him because the customer had to walk up and ask for his own drink. I was there while that was happening. I would understand if the place was busy but it was dead slow. It seemed like only 1 girl was actually working and taking her job seriously. I wish I would have caught her name. Everyone else was just standing around huddled and talking. I had a family member call and ask for some food I had to try and find someone to ask to add to my order all it was, was 2 more salads and she again huffing and puffing like it was such an inconvenience for her. Then for her to tell me that they forgot to put in 1 of our bread twists so we had to wait even longer. My niece and I left and my niece said they didn’t give us our drinks. I had to turn back around to get those again if it was super busy I would understand for mistakes but when the place is dead you shouldn’t have room for mistakes at all. Just all around horrible customer service. These kids need to be taught how to properly work customer service jobs.

⭐ 1 out of 5 – A Masterclass in “Who’s Supposed to Be Working?”

Ah, The Pizza Factory in Syracuse — where the breadsticks are the only ones showing up to work.

For the third glorious visit in a row, I had the pleasure of walking in to absolutely no one at the front. It’s like a social experiment called “How Long Will They Wait Before Seating Themselves?” Spoiler: I seated myself… again. Gold star for me.

After a few minutes of basking in my invisibility cloak, I got back up (fitness goals, right?) and wandered to the back like a lost child in search of basic human attention. That’s when I encountered Harrison, proudly clutching my Sprite like it was a family heirloom. Instead of handing it to me, he laughed about how I had to come ask for it — you know, just your standard customer service routine: mock the guest while doing the bare minimum. Someone else (not him, of course) eventually tossed me some silverware like I was at a budget medieval tavern.

Let’s talk food: it’s a solid “meh” unless you’re here for the salad bar and breadsticks — which, lucky for them, still slap. If they ever take those away, they should just turn this place into a haunted house and call it a day.

Clearly, the staff has been trained in the ancient art of “pretend like the customer isn’t there,” and management? Not sure they exist. If they do, they’re probably hiding in the back playing Uno.

This place needs an overhaul so epic it deserves a visit from Gordon Ramsey. Until then, come for the breadsticks and salad bar it’s pretty much impossible to screw that up. That is if you even get someone to wait on you for the breadsticks.

We’ve been a loyal customer for many years at this restaurant. However, the last several times we have been there have been questionable. While the food remains the same as it always has been, the appearance of the place walking in the door makes you want to turn to walk away. Today, as we entered, I counted 11 tables that still had dirty dishes that had not been cleaned up. It was difficult to find a table to sit at that was clean. It is not appealing walking by somebody else’s dirty dishes while trying to get to a clean table. It was almost 5 PM so that tells me most of the mess was left from the lunch crowd and not cleaned up by the staff. The staff that were there were not busy. Just don’t know why they can’t see how terrible that looks.

It was pretty short-staffed, but the workers did their best. (But it was also Memorial Day so other days might be different). It took a long time to get seated and another long wait to get our food. Even the water took at least 20 minutes. But the workers were working as hard as they could. The food was pretty good.

Worst service I've had in a long time. Wife placed online order - showed complete and ready. Arrived at drive thru and nobody answered window for 5 minutes, backed up to go over sensor again, still nobody comes to window for several minutes. Then I call the restaurant, rings about 15 times before someone answers so I tell them check the back window I've been waiting... still takes several minutes before someone finally responds. After I give her name she disappears again for at least 5 minutes before finally showing up with our order (and no apology). I only go here because my wife likes it, I think the food is mediocre, but after this she's on her own, I will never give them my business again.

Chicken Alfredo pizza and cinnamon bread twist is a solid choice!

Well, this was an unfortunate experience…getting our food…with extra topping I did not order HAIR🤮. The customer service mediocre at best. But they made it right by taking the pizza off the bill.

We love Pizza Factory! The crust is yummy! We always get the bread twists with a side of Alfredo. All of the specialty pizzas are wonderful. The pastas are great. The salad bar has lots of options. It is clean and the employees are kind and efficient.

I gave 2 stars because the pasta was good. The pizza was poorly assembled and very raw. It's very expensive for barely passable quality. No need to return.

Ben Eddy

Good pizza, good pasta dishes. They have a really affordable family meal option.
