One of my favorite local places. Great for a quick lunch or a large dinner group. Nice selection of local beers. Known for its excellent BBQ menu, but my favorite is Idaho Red Trout. Always has an excellent service.

This is a rough review. We enjoyed the ambiance, the service was good. But…. The food just didn’t hit the mark. I had the prime rib, it was tasty but cold. The au jue, ice cold. I even sipped it to make sure. The sweet potato casserole was canned for sure. My little girl had a cheeseburger and said she wished we were at McDonalds.
Great vibe, nice service, but someone needs to take greater pride in the food coming out.

Food okay, but I was hoping for better, especially ially at that price point

I have been going here for several years and they have THE best ribs that I have found in the SLC area. There are many fine choices on the menu, but I always get the ribs. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I have had many discussions with Shane the owner and he is as personable as can be. Highly recommend this place!

Had spinach and artichoke dip...full of butter in the bottom 😞 Had the pulled pork plate... soggy garlic bread from the abundance of oil or grease. Plate completely covered in the grease or oil. Pulled pork is way too smoky. Difficult to eat. Mac and cheese was good.
Our server did not check on us at all.
$90 poorly spent and likely to not return

Nice place, great food. Order came out fast and hot. My only complaint was our server brought our food and then forgot about us. We sat with empty plates and drinks for a good 15 minutes before flagging down another server.

Amazing food and service. Mattie was the best and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend the prime rib which was beyond amazing

Finding this place was a surprisie to me as someone who has lived most of my life in Salt Lake. I had never heard of it before. It is a hidden gem.

The atmosphere is upper-class rustic. Very nice. The staff is attentive, and the food was excellent. The prices are reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber.

My only complaint is that if you are in a large group and they are busy, then they may not get the timing right in bringing out your dinner. I ordered the goat cheese salad, and it did not come out until my friends were halfway through with their steaks. This is why I gave them four stars instead of five.

Vegetarian options: Goat cheese salad was really good.

Parking: They are tucked away behind some other businesses.

Gorgeous restaurant about a mile away from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. They have a terrific bar setup, with an outdoor patio connected for the warmer months. Great options for brunch and dinner depending on what time you stop by. Large selection of beers on draft. Join their text alerts for some good deals and menu updates.

Probably one of the best ribeye steaks that I’ve had in years. It was absolutely delicious and had that melt in your mouth texture that is always sought after but rarely found. I couldn’t have been happier with my meal.
