Ambiance was the only reason I gave this 2 stars, it was clean and music was alright. But, food, terrible, all I ordered was a chicken bowl and they the skimping on food is un-real! They have a good size bowl and they fill it with lettuce and pico, even skimped on beans. The amount of money you spend to just get lettuce and pico is ridiculous!! The "extra meat" request and still get nothing in the bowl is absurd. Places like this is what makes going out to eat infuriating! Prices these days are already wayyyy up, now we have to deal with getting less food. Higher prices, less food equals crappy experience.
It was also unconscious for them to give you less food as well. When I asked, "is that all you're giving me?" They had no surprise or change on their face as they pushed my light bowl along to fill it with lettuce.
Crappy, 10 out of 10 I do NOT recommend!! Go somewhere else or cook at home. Freezer meals would be a better experience than this.

Food here is worse than the other locations. My lime was old and slimy, the shredded lettuce was wet and all clumped together in the tostada, and the seasoning wasn't right - it tasted so bland. We'll keep going to Sandy, it's much better.

The food is great, this is the GO-TO for my wife. The big problem with "Delivery" is they DO NOT include any plastic ware or napkins, or star mints. So you better have eating utensils available.

The server got my order wrong and she got all upset into the plate of lay instead of talking to me and understanding what I was saying she just assumed not very nice The rest of the servers were fine would not recommend

Ordered food through door dash. They sent the wrong order entirely the first time. My Dasher returned and received ice cold food. Then, trying to make the best of it, I found HUMAN HAIR in my tacos. Disgusting. Are you guys not wearing hair nets?!

This location is really going downhill... Came here the other night with my family and had a very unpleasant experience not to mention portion sizes were clearly much smaller... Disclaimer, We got to the location at 9:30 (they close at 10pm) and they were already trying to clean up and get people out and make it feel as unwelcoming as possible even though there were people in line behind us and many people still eating...
1) charge just for two drinks but as we were still checking out they took away all of the good drinks (guy behind us requested a refund because they had taken away all the good specialty drinks).
2) they charged me $5 for a kids quesadilla meal but gave me one Nino quesadilla and a laughable side of rice and beans (see picture)
3) charged me for enchilada style on burrito however never asked me if I wanted enchilada style nor did I request it.
4) cashier ignored my request for a receipt and just walked away so I had to take it off the printer myself
5) at 10:00 sharp while there were many other patrons still in the restaurant they purposely turned up the music very loud and uninviting to get everyone to leave
6) either none of the employees speak English or they at least pretend as though they do not understand what you're saying which made it even more difficult when trying to talk to them about getting overcharged for things
Overall would definitely avoid this location or better yet Just send it over to a Costa vida where you might get treated better.

The food is usually good, IF you can get your correct order! In the last three times I've ordered a salad for curbside pick up (once by DoorDash) they have NEVER managed to include the salad dressing! So I end up having to either remind them before I leave, or in the case of DoorDash going back to the restaurant to get the dressing... totally negating the convenience of having it dropped off. Very Frustrating and disappointing. If this only happened once I'd be bummed, but three times in a row shows an ongoing lack of QA from their team and disregard of customer service. Hopefully this will encourage them to improve!

The rice was burned, crunchy, and contained black char. When I asked the staff person to remove a large piece of black char from my burrito, she did it, but was annoyed. Brought the burrito home and couldn't eat it.

I've enjoyed Cafe Rio for some time! But they have unfortunately gone downhill, specifically this location. I ordered online through the app so that I could quickly pick up my food and go. When I arrived for my pickup time , it's not ready, and I sat and waited for 30 minutes past my pickup time, which was a little upsetting. It wasn't that busy either. I just wish they were more consistent and quick with their service.

Really disappointed in this location. We go out of our way to come here and tonight we ordered a pick up order. The salad that we ordered had half the standard amount of chicken in it, which is truly unacceptable. I have really started to notice a decline in this location, especially with to go orders. I believe that Cafe Rio skimps online orders because you’re not standing there watching them make your plates. Made clear tonight with the salad that was ordered. I’m sad that a once great tasting, exciting food establishment had declined so quickly. In both the standard of what your order includes (an actually serving of protein) and the mass production of food for the locations.

For 12 bucks I expect a good amount of meat on my salad. I can go to an authentic Mexican place and get so much more food for this price. Seems I am not the only one noticing the greed.
