My receipt was withheld, the person asked if I was going to leave a tip or not, then charged me for extra cream cheese for a cold un-sliced bagel that was hard in the middle, when everywhere else includes cream cheese in the price of the bagel, at the very least. I will not go back again, and I'm awaiting a refund, since there wasn't a manager in sight.

The coffee is good but it’s disappointing that in this day and age there are no unsweetened milk options. I only go here if I have no time to stop into my other shops that offer unsweetened milk options. It’s an easy fix. Please consider an unsweetened almond or oat milk for the people.
I love Java Jo's! They have the best latte's My only challenge, I wish they offered lactose free milk. Not milk substitute but actual milk! I've made the request at least 25 times over the last 5 years.

I kept seeing this place in TikTok videos and so we drove 20 minutes to try it out. Coffee was decent, definitely not the best but still pretty good. Prices are also good for a coffee shop. However, my biggest pet peeve is when food shops and coffee shops straight up ask if you want to leave a tip rather than just handing you a tablet or device where you can choose. Of course after we said “not today” the barista became unfriendly. Tipping at a coffee shop should not be a normal thing. It used to be that it was only expected at sit down restaurants. It’s one thing to have it be an option if the service is awesome, but to straight up ask for one then treat the customer differently when they say no.
