Stopped in for lunch and was happy we did. Sat outside and enjoyed the Mountain View’s. Drinks were good I enjoyed the Bloody Mary with basically a small lunch on top. The French dip was good but needs a bit of attention. The meat was very scarce and a bit dry but the overall taste was good. Really enjoyed the fried pickles. the batter was tasty and not overly battered like some places do. All and all it was a good experience and we would go back for a quick bite.

I have been to Root’d in the past, and loved it so much I had to bring my husband. We came today, and the food, service, lattes, and overall experience was 10/10!
My husband is picky and he loves it! We met Shawn and he told us about the live band on Tuesday & Thursday nights, so we will be back to check dinner out… I can’t wait!

Let me tell you about an incredible place to eat a delicious meal with a staff that treats you like family. They will remember your name and always greet you with a warm smile. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for going on three years now. She has only ordered one thing, the Brown Butter Pancakes with powdered sugar and fruit! She does this cause she just loves it so much and no other place offers pancakes this amazing. I have tried many things on the menu but tend to skip around a bit. The elk / brisket chili is new and a must. Does have a little kick so be ready. Seems to be the only place I can actually get my eggs over medium without them just coming out runny. Shout out to the kitchen staff here. The restaurant is decorated with style and is quite cozy. It has its own personality which we like. “Love your City”’is a theme they have there and we agree. Cottonwood Heights is a terrific place to eat and hang out. Choose the patio or dine inside. We began coming for the food, but we have stayed for the people. Belle has the most incredible smile to greet you with. Alexis runs the front of the establishment and you can tell how much she cares about her staff and guests by how she interacts with them. Jack is our go to server but we like everyone there. He knows the menu inside and out and will give you an honest answer which we appreciate. I train a sales staff professionally. Alexis has hired a crew that just gets how to take care of people. Not easy to do. Thank you again Rooted! Love your city!!

Harlee is a 10/10 server! The food was great but the experience was amazing because of her!! She was so attentive, but not overbearing. My drink was always filled! I often have weird requests about my food and she made me feel totally comfortable. Will be coming back again!!
