This place has the best craft cocktails in Utah! The lychee cosmo is a must-try — super yummy. Plus, the bartender and server are so cute and so nice. Highly recommend coming here!

Food presentation is beautiful. Dishes are spiced perfectly, and taste amazing. I had the shrimp, mango basil dish, one of the best dishes I’ve had in Utah. The guava iced tea was delicious, highly recommend and can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.

We took very delicious pho after a hike in big cottonwood. The broth, meat and noodles were great.

What an amazing surprise to find such an authentic dining experience with incredibly delicious dishes and a Zen-like vibe in the suburbs of SLC! We sampled many of the small plate choices and loved them all. The service was extremely friendly that accentuated the wonderful experience. I highly recommend Saola, and can't wait to come back!

We ate here for my birthday! The food was incredible and so was the service. Fast and friendly.
Great food! Not a lot of people there when we visited but a perfect way to spend father's day.
Our server was a dream and wonderful telling us about drinks and food. The food portions were huge and wish we had know so we could've split the meals, as we had so much leftover and we were traveling.
The food here is excellent though pricey. I would argue it is worth every dime though! I've been here a few times now and really enjoyed the Chang Mai noodles, spring rolls, lettuce rolls, pho, and French dip banh mi. Everything I've tried has been awesome and very flavorful. The only things I would change are the amount of onions and potatoes on the Chang Mai noodles (way too much onion, not enough potato - but everything else in the dish is great) and the playlist, which has been low-fi, chill, pop covers of other popular songs (nobody wants that, just play Thai or Vietnamese music or just the original songs idk).

Gorgeous atmosphere, cute summer patio looking directly up Big Cottonwood. Food is creative and perfectly prepared every time with amazing Vietnamese fusion. We’ve come here for years. It’s a hidden gem.

Beautiful space. Long working hours (esp on Sunday). Food is quite authentic. Lots of parking. Waiting time is too long.
Absolutely fantastic food. Excellent service, great for a date night or a nice dinner out. We love the salmon pad Thai, and the sea bass, but my all time favorite is the garlic noodles with filet. Get it.
