Had a delightful lunch here after hiking to Notch Peak. The ladies who worked the counter were kind, thoughtful, and attentive. I had huevos rancheros and it hit the spot. Followed that up with a slice of cherry pie. I look forward to a future visit next time I am in this part of “the middle of nowhere”.

The tour Eclectic
I guess this is really were I review the restraunt (as the previous site must have been for the Inn) The tour found itself in Delta headed west. So before braving the bleak unknown south of the Bonneville salt flats we decided on a quick bite, hence THE RANCHER. Another win for the tours ability to sniff out roadside Americana.

My nearly 5 Stars across the board are based on the Delta Utah curve. I've eaten here about 5 times now and the only thing I was disappointed in was a Chicke. Fried Steak.. little tough. The Steak and Shrimp I had was good, especially for the price. French dip sandwich is pretty good.

We took a last minute getaway trip from Las Vegas and stopped in for lunch. I was highly impressed with the salad bar and the BLT was great! Homemade real potato French fries and all! Salad bars are hard to come by anymore. Our sever was very sweet. It was a great start to our day of exploring all the outdoor activities the town and surrounding area had to offer!! There was park right across the street as well with a splash pad and beautiful, shaded, grassy open spaces. We really enjoyed The quaint town of Delta, UT!

I am so glad we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The service was great and very friendly. We loved listening to the townspeople talk. The food was good. I had the chicken strips with salad, and my husband had the French dip with fries. A good place to eat while traveling in the area.
