Yes! Their donuts are moist and delicious!
I recently visited Donut Star in Draper, and while the location was nice and the donuts were good, they weren’t anything extraordinary. The biggest downside for me was the pricing—it felt way too high for what you’re getting. Unfortunately, I was also overcharged but couldn’t find my receipt, so I let it go. While the experience wasn’t terrible, the cost just doesn’t make it worth a return visit for me. If you’re okay with paying a premium for decent donuts, it might be worth a try, but personally, I’ll be looking elsewhere. ⭐⭐⭐/5
So yummy! The chocolate topped, glazed donut with M&Ms was one of the best donuts I have ever had. 🎶 😋 🎉

Before they got bought out their donuts were always so soft and fluffy! I went bright and early and got a crunchy/dry donut that tasted old. Super disappointing because they used to be a good!!

We recently discovered this bakery after googling nut free options near us. Our son has a severe nut allergy and has never had a bakery donut because they always have nuts in the kitchen and his allergy is too severe to consume anything made near nuts. Sometimes when we find nut free options for him, whether store bought or fresh made, the quality is not the same but this was not the case with Donut Star. Our whole family enjoyed the donuts from here and they were fresh and tasted amazing. When I mentioned to my son on a Friday night that we would go get him some donuts the next morning, he was awake and dressed ready to go at 8:00 am because he was so excited that he could get any donut in there and not have to worry. He often has to sit and watch his brother get treats from places or eat things that he can’t and this is so hard for him. Donut Star makes it possible for him to feel like every other kid that can walk in a bakery and order what he wants. The owner was great and was so nice to us while ordering. Much better than larger chain style donut shops I have been to. Thank you for having a nut free bakery where people with nut allergies can enjoy amazing treats!! You have new customers for life!

Way over priced and not very good. Very small selection. I bought a dozen of mixed, just didn't taste fresh.

I have been here 2 or 3 times and I have never been disappointed. And the lady that packed my order wrote thank you on the top of the box in such pretty handwriting. idk made me smile.

Great donuts. Bear claw was huge lol. Never disappointed when we stop here. It's a good thing we don't live in Utah.

The girls that served our donuts were so kind to us even though we showed up kind of at the end of the day! And the donuts were great!

We went here opening weekend, a month after and many months after on the regular, as I buy a dozen donuts about once per month for my team. What we initially experienced were amazing well thought out recipes and execution of a curry not seen at many other donut maker shops.
Today isn’t the same. Now many donuts are soggy, straight from the freezer, over cooked or even under cooked. The icing is no longer consistent and we’ve had poorly tasting icing on several trips. It’s unfortunate as this was our go to. Not sure we’ll be back.

I specifically ordered online so I could guarantee the donuts I needed. When I arrived I was told they were out of the ones I specifically ordered and was asked if I would “like to choose something else”. I said “No” and asked for the order be cancelled. I then had to stand around for an additional 5 minutes only to be told the order could NOT be cancelled. I then asked for a refund and was told the store cannot give a cash refund but my credit card would be refunded in 2-3 weeks.
It’s now been 4 wks and Donut Star continues to hold my $25 hostage. Your donuts are phenomenal Donut Star, but it’s NOT ok for your website to let someone purchase an item, only be to told when they arrive they must pick something else. I spent my money, my time, my gas, and continued time checking my account for the refund I feel I will never get.
I feel I have made my fair share of purchases at donut star, but no more. “Bate and Switch” is a very dishonest way to run a business.

Went in this place at about 2pm. They are supposed to be open until 3pm. We were asked to leave at about 230pm even though we werent done eating. The worker said since no one else was coming he was just going to start closing up early. Rude!! I then watched 2 other customers pull up to the shop before 3pm as we were getting back in our car. They went up to the door only to see they had closed the shop already and had to turn around and leave. So now they are losing business including from me. I wont be back.

If soft fluffy donuts are your things, this is the place for you.
All donuts were made uniformly, meaning I wasn't stuck with an over cooked donut. These really were delicious. The cronuts are a crissont base with a glazed frosting. They are good, and a unique flavor. The rest of their donuts have a standard donut base that is so soft and fluffy. Absolutely amazing.
Excellent maple flavoring.
Highly recommend. Better than daylight donuts and donut run. This place tastes like you went to a real bakery.
