Ugh we keep trying this diner & continue to be disappointed. Hash browns under cooked, mostly raw... avocado toast was literally a dry piece of toast with an avocado chopped up on it ... No seasoning, none of the things it was supposed to come with (can't remember everything the menu said, but I remember tomato at least). Service good & friendly at least. I think this was our last attempt, we can make food this bad ourselves at home for a fraction of the price 🙄

We had a group Christmas dinner at this diner. Some people ordered full dinners and some people had traditional breakfast fare for dinner. The food service is very fast considering we had a large group and only one server assigned to us. The portions were generous. The atmosphere is a typical cozy diner environment. I hope we go back to this place next year for our group Christmas dinner, it's challenging to find a place that has good food and fair prices along with fast service for a group of people, but this place met all our needs.

All of the food was great except for the bacon. The original bacon we got was all burnt so we sent it back. The next batch was almost the same with a couple of the 8 pieces that were somewhat edible. Our server was very apologetic and we knew it wasn't her fault. She did her best to make it right. We've never had this problem before but we certainly did this time. I wish I had taken a photo of the burned bacon.

We took our son’s family there for dinner last night. There were 9 of us so the bill was not cheap. So very disappointed in both the food and service. Some of our food came out cold, portions were small and the butter they brought out to spread on the pancakes were like mini butter bricks. Our server disappeared after bringing the food and showed up at the end to bring his the bill. My son sat there waiting for her to come because he and my grandson needed something but didn’t happen until the meal was over. Based on the experience and price will not be returning to this Black Bear location. Server had not the best attitude

My first impressions of this place was that it was a very cozy place. I got the homemade chicken pot pie, it was delicious. The server was nice and the service was amazing! Overall had a cozy aesthetic with great food. I thought some of the decorations were fun

JORDAN was so nice!! :) He sung happy birthday to my brother in ITALIAN which was so nice and SO COOL of him! He really was so amazing and deserves praise for his hard work. He's very efficient and quick, and such a kind soul. Thankyou so much Jordan, you are wonderful!! The food was so yummy too. :)
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Went there as a family to enjoy lunch for my son's birthday. Jordan was our server. He was much more than that. He sang Happy Birthday to my son, in ITALIAN!!! He was beyond amazing. The portions of food were insane. The prices were great, especially considering that you get a huge amount of food you get. I am beyond grateful for the amazing service and atmosphere. Super cute stuff for sale too. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!!

Visited Black Bear Diner on a Sunday afternoon for burgers, and they were excellent, a real hidden gem. Our server, Jordan, was the highlight. He was warm, attentive, and brought everything we needed before we needed to ask. His genuine conversation and small touches, like offering refills to go, made the visit outstanding. Thank you Jordan!

Shockingly bad food and wildly overpriced. This was a Thanksgiving meal. Turkey meal was decent but quite small and overpriced. Far worse was the prime rib, it was like eating a sock. Dry as dirt, flavorless. Terribly disappointing and $70 wasted. Last visit for us.
