My family ordered the Beef and Chicken Szechuan, each for $13.50. We ended up getting 3 full meals out of the portion size -- many thanks! Personally, I should have ordered the Vegeterian Dish since the vegtables and sauce were my favorite part ....

Ok - 5 STARS. It's not easy getting a fiver out of me...but here's why.
Got the General's Chicken. Looked just like the picture! Fresh steamed Broccoli, Crispy Battered Chicken - not greasy- in the classic Generals sauce, perfectly steamed white rice and a couple pork egg rolls and a fountain beverage refillable.
The kitchen looked neat and was actively being cleaned. I'm a chef and that counts. Service staff were kind and the owner actually listened to my requests and made the dinner very well...WITH AN ACTUAL WOK! Service was fast and accurate.
At least a dozen Uber drivers picked up while I was here.
Bathroom was clean and didn't smell.
I'm fussy because I'm paid to be. I appreciate a good meal made and served by kind people. It just tastes better when a restaurant cares.

Service here was fast, personable, welcoming….all the things a restaurant should be. The food was very, very good. The fried rice was amazing with large chunks of ham, flavorful but not greasy. The noodles were the perfect texture, teriyaki was nicely flavored. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy and not overly greasy with good, well cooked tender chicken. The teriyaki chicken and beef both had a few tough pieces but overall extremely good. I also loved the cream cheese wontons. The dining room was simply decorated but had enough seating. We watched football while we waited for the food. Very casual atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and want some inexpensive Chinese food with generous portions.

I come from Texas and this place is super good, the plate came super packed with a lot of food. I got full and took my plate to go and it still looks pretty complete. I got orange chicken and it was fresh out of the pan. Super good I recommend this place 100%. If this place was in Texas I would come back.

When I say I was heart broken when teriyaki boy was no longer around I almost went on a joker spree. Fast forward 2 years later my wife says “ I wanna try this place next to my gym” little did I know that little place would restore peace and balance to my life!!! My deep depression has lifted off my shoulders, the sun is now shinning much brighter than it did before! The name and location may have changed but the love put into that delicious food has not! I’d recommend bringing all of your friends and family here. This place will probably restore any faith you’ve lost in humanity! With love and honor thank you empire wok for always being there for me!

This new place is just as awesome as the former when it was called Teriyaki Boy. The food is delicious. The people are happy to help and the kitchen appears to be organized and tidy whenever I come in. It’s been my genuinely pleasure coming in to be served by guys like Jimmy and his staff, and I’ll be making this my spot as long as they are around. I live in South Salt Lake and I’ll go out of my way in Utah traffic to get some sukiyaki beef, teriyaki chicken and shrimp combo because their food is JUST. THAT. GOOD! Come try it out for yourself!
