Completely unacceptable. Sat for 45 minutes while others who ordered after me got served right away. Staff seemed more focused on socializing with their friends than actually working. Spent $18 on overpriced ice and got ignored the whole time. No organization, no professionalism, just a bunch of teenagers wasting time. Don’t bother coming here unless you enjoy being treated like an afterthought.

These kids have zero managerial skills. Orders are filled out of order and for their friends first. They keep taking orders when they have over a dozen to fill and only one person making the orders. 45 minutes and we are still waiting on our order. Don't waste your time.

I was so disappointed. The reason I started loving Hokulia in the first place was because their shaved ice was so soft, but unfortunately this is the first time I’ve been when it was HARD! It seemed like the shaved ice I could’ve gotten at the state fair—cheap & forgettable. There were also bees EVERYWHERE so you couldn’t even sit at their tables.

The ice was super fluffy and the flavoring was delicious! I wish there were smaller sizes instead of just big or bigger. It’s hard to eat that much snow especially for little kids. The picture I’ve posted is the smallest size available and it is still very large.

Don’t go to any other place! This Hokulia shave ice shack is THE BEST in the valley. I don’t know why it’s better, but all 5 of our orders were prepared to perfection. Our girls were in heaven since we got one for each of them— the Short Board was such a great value.
