We stopped in while we were in town recently and wanted to try a good local taco place. The inside was beautiful, but the service was lacking. It was completely dead inside on a Friday night. The food was fresh, but seemed over complicated instead of just being well made.

Excellent food, good service, very warm and modern atmosphere. Their piña colada is the best, you have to try it. 10/10 100% recommended

Placed a large to go order and left a 20% tip. They then proceeded to give our order to another person, after reviewing it with the other person and without notifying us as sat next to the register.
No apologies or concerns on their part they even said that the other person just took the bags.
Bad service.

Kompas is such a breath of fresh air for Draper. Everything is excellent and the variety keeps me coming back. Service is great, but we come back for the food. Nachos, Korean steak, Shrimp, frozen horchata…all of it is delicious. Wish it was in a bit higher traffic area just to make sure we keep this gem.

Really enjoyed the tacos here. Also tried the frozen horchata and it was great, though I’m not sure I’d ever get it again due to the price.
Amazing food. The al pastor was very well seasoned and not too sweet. Tons of toppings on the nachos - they were also a large serving for the price.

Really good tacos. But it’s very expensive for the small portions ($22 for 3 tacos and a drink) and no available hot sauces to choose from in the lobby.
Stopped for lunch. Had the chicken tinga taco and carne asada taco plus drink. Both were really good.

We love this place!! They have the best food (the steak nachos are my personal favorite) but everything is so fresh and delicious! Love the staff as they are a family owned business and you can tell they put their heart and soul into this place. Go try it!

Excellent service from staff. There were a lot of options to choose from so we chose a few different options with the help from our server. They were all delicious. I accidentally chose one with a little spice and I don’t really like spice but it was subtle and tasted great. Restaurant was clean and there is plenty of parking and seating.

I tried the fish taco and was very impressed with the flavors and texture. The staff was too notch, super friendly, and helpful. Their guac was just right and I'm hung sight I wish I would have added it to my taco. We will be back!
