Decent bbq place. I tried chicken, sausage, brisket, and smoked ox tail and they are all decent and flavorful (brisket is my favorite). The restaurant is quite small but they have outdoor dining area (fortunately it wasn’t too cold today). I like the potato salad but baked beans aren’t my style. The price is quite high compared to other bbq places around.

I’m from Dayton Ohio…..my 2 coworkers are from Louisville ky and Florida! We are in town for 30 days We couldn’t wait to pull up! And when I say omg !! That’s all! Staff is amazing ! Ox tails and oxtail sausage is finger licking good!!!!! We will be back at least twice a week ! The staff was wonderful!!!!! So grateful to knock this off my bucket list!!!

Don't order online. They are not helpful if they charge you when they have run out of food. Having to go to credit card to fight for return funds because they won't take the time to correct the issue. Don't trust their GM, Emily, she will not follow through on her commitments. Will be now going to the Better Business Bureau.

I came from St. Louis MO to taste this bbq and it was delicious. I knew it was going to be good because I walked in the restaurant and I could smell the flavors of the food. I had the 3 plate meal. My first time eating oxtails and they were amazing. The meat comes right off the bone when you bite into it. The brisket and sausage was also delicious. The cabbage was flavorful and delicious. The bbq beans was good but its taste like something I would eat with some jiffy mix cornbread. In ST. LOUIS we like our bbq beans sweet. The only thing I can say negative is my wife don’t like chicken legs or thighs and they didn’t ask if she wanted white are dark meat and she didn’t think to ask. This food was amazing, if I ever come back to Salt Lake City I would most definitely eat here again.

I'm not a picky eater but it was good to spoil myself with 5 star eating. I'm from Wisconsin and said on day I'm going to get out there and get me some candy red's. I have a freight delivery service that brought me a Utah. So I ended up 30 minutes away from Les BBQ. I was not going to miss this opportunity. Side note.... I seen a few videos of people not happy with everything here. Not a lot but a few. BUT Les did his thing with me. Pause 😆. My oxtails we cooked to perfection even the bones were falling apart. The dirty rice was so flavored and the Mac was not hot because I drove a bit to get parking at the rest stop. But it still had cheese pull and was so good.
Super blah. Food wasnt good. Limited options and nothing worth. The Mac was dry, chicken was not flavorful, ribs were kinda stinky. I dont recommend.

I had the chance to finally stop in today and let me tell you everything was great that I had! I came up from Las Vegas and the trip was well worth it. I will definitely either order to be shipped or I will come back up in the winter when it’s time to snowboard lol. I had 1 pound of oxtail and 1/2 pound of beef brisket which came up to $75 which isn’t bad. The food didn’t even need any sauce because the flavor was all there!

I ordered the advertised “softball” oxtails both candy red, and famous OG, oxtail patties(4 count), and brisket. The oxtail sizes severely disappointed me as they are not the same size, not even close to what you see advertised on LES BBQ’S social media sites. I spent a lot of money to experience this barbecue and to support LES BBQ. I wouldn’t recommend ordering online for shipping. Maybe you get better quality if you come into the restaurant. The oxtail patties are less than 1/4 of an inch thick. Once again for the money it is not worth it at all. You will definitely feel manipulated. Hopefully one day they’ll make the true softballs available for delivery.
