Very cute, strings of lights all over the trees made for a fun time. Lots of greenery, a fire pit, water fountain, umbrella for shade. The staff was amazing. The food was pretty good but very expensive. Indoor and outdoor seating, highly recommend outside.

We were a partry of 5 and we each ordered something different. Each dish was incredible! Scallops, halibut, salmon and 2 different pasta dishes. We also tried the peach caprese and brie appetizer. Amazing!
Jacob our server was a delight and knowledgable with wonderful recommendations. He really made our evening lovely. Highly recommend sitting outside if the weather permits. Its quite nice. Cheers to the chef and Jacob!

This restaurant is so pretty on a summer evening. We sat outside at a table by the big fireplace and with all the outdoor lights strung through the yard it was romantic and lovely. We have been seated inside as well on other occasions, and the whole restaurant has a lot of charm. The chef offers unique dishes with great flavors, and presentation was flawless. Most recently we went on a Saturday evening, so it was busy but our server was professional and food arrived timely. I would say my favorite dish of the night was the croissant bread pudding, though we thought every course was delicious. The only (small) issue was parking was pretty full, so we parked at Draper Park, but the walk over and back was actually nice. We had a restaurant we loved back home in north Idaho, and since moving to Utah we’ve been searching for something similar. We’ve tried several, this one is our favorite so far.

This place is terrible the owner Marco doesn’t even pay the people that do services for him. No wonder they are going out of business.

Google said it was open on Sundays. It was clearly not. :( hopefully they can change the times to be more accurate.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Superb from the Parmesan bread and wine to the entree and dessert. Service was great with several attentive staff members meeting our needs. Our compliments to the talented chef.
Our first time dining at this establishment - a truly wonderful anniversary dinner. We were given a special table on the porch with enough privacy. It is now under new ownership and renamed “ The Pines.” Jacob our server was outstanding - great recommendations, providing enough time between courses and checking back in with us at just the right time. We especially enjoyed the peach caprese salad as an appetizer and the Coconut Thai Halibut was absolutely delicious. Topped it off with the apple and peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Highly recommended for a special night out.

Now known as The Pines (new ownership), this was a 5-star experience for us. They retained the Brazilian, French-trained chef, which was a very good decision, and we were told (1st time here) that the menu is mostly the same, with some new items coming onboard as time and culinary creativity goes on.
The filet mignon and chef-special crab-topped halibut entrees were delicious and prepared perfectly. We share, so we were smiling with every bite. Yes, it was monitarily expensive, but it was my love's birthday, and, in this case, was justified by the look in her eyes and the smile on her face.
We sat outside, which, aesthetically, was the right mix of sun lightly filtering through the deep shade of the trees. The temperature was very comfortable and we couldn't have improved it, even if we could have.
Our server, Brett, was gracious, efficient, and unobtrusive. Professional, yet personable, if you will.
Overall, we would highly recommend The Pines (formerly known as The Charleston) for those special culinary experiences that require feelings of calm, satiation, and comfort. Thank You for that experience!

I ordered the scallops, they were phenomenal some of the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the gaucho steak. It was overcooked which was disappointing but he still enjoyed it.
The food was terrific, though I note that the "Artichoke Soufflé was actually an artichoke dip with some crossitini. Our waiter, Brett, was really good. The problem was the seating. This was an anniversary date and they sat us outside in 90+ degree heat and right next to the street. The rest of the diners were either seated inside or well away from the street. Kind of hard to have a romantic dinner when you have semi-rush hour traffic (including a Harley or two) close by.
Everything from the appetizers and drinks to the entrées was absolutely delicious! The ambiance is lovely, and the service was outstanding.
Such a perfect time for outside seating. The ambiance was delightful. Our steaks were cooked exactly as requested. The Peach Mozzarella Balsamic Appetizer was devine.
Will definitely return.
