Toscanos is easy to access. It is directly off the 11400S exit of I-15 in Draper. Parking is open and convenient. We were greeted at the door and had our table ready as soon as we all arrived. Our waiter was very attentive and fun. He made suggestions and answered any questions we had. Dining here was a very pleasant experience. Our group will return.

The food was expensive for the low quality, unseasoned food, not even the salad was good, I don't recommend it to anyone.

Kelly our server and the manager Dallas were wonderful. They made it an excellent experience.

Everything was delicious and our server was outstanding. It was not full so it could be very noisy with a full house.

Best Carbonara we have ever had! With the great service, we will definitely be dining here again!

They took such good care of our homecoming group. With lots of kids and separate checks, they did a great job.

Toscano in Draper, Utah

I recently interviewed at Toscano’s, and while the restaurant itself is nice inside, I left with serious concerns about how they handle professionalism and fairness.

For context, I have a long background in customer service, especially in residential electrical service — working directly in people’s homes with their families, which requires a very high level of trust and professionalism. I came to Toscano’s simply looking for an opportunity to contribute — whether that was seating guests, bussing tables, washing dishes, or anything I was physically able to do while recovering from recent elbow surgery.

I arrived early, dressed well, and brought a strong résumé detailing my experience both in the restaurant industry and customer service. But instead of being evaluated on my experience, my punctuality, or my attitude, I was immediately judged for having facial tattoos. Another staff member pointed them out to the general manager, and without ever speaking to me directly, she had another manager deliver the message that I would not be hired solely because of my appearance.

I want to be clear: I was polite, professional, and understanding during the conversation. But it’s deeply disappointing that in 2025, with tattoos becoming increasingly common and social acceptance broadening across many areas of life, a company would still disqualify someone strictly based on how they look. I was not turned away because of my background, my work ethic, my skills, or any valid professional reason — just my tattoos.

To me, that raises a larger concern: if this is how they treat a job applicant, how do they treat paying customers who also have tattoos, piercings, or don’t fit their “desired image”?

I believe companies should evaluate people on their character, their abilities, and their professionalism — not on assumptions about their appearance. Unfortunately, Toscano’s missed that opportunity. I hope they do better next time.
