Never expected to find this little place tucked away in East Carbon while out here for work. The food was freshly prepared and piping hot! Great level of spice and flavor on the spicy pork, and the wontons were stuffed full of crab and cheese.

Apple Chicken Cafe has something for everyone! Our family tried the fried dumplings, crab and cheese wontons, egg rolls, sweet and sour shrimp, broccoli and chicken, beef, etc. and loved all of it. Service was excellent. The Taiwanese family that owns it is delightful. This little place in East Carbon is worth the trip. If you have a chance to stop by, you won't regret it.

Recently had the opportunity to try Apple Chicken Cafe and everything was delicious! All flavors were combined nicely and the portions were perfect. Crab wontons were a family favorite to share and also loved the pineapple chicken, house special, and general tso’s! Will certainly be back and sharing with my adventure network for future trips through the area, if you’re heading to explore nearby Nine Mile Canyon or driving mid way to Moab- this is a great stop to re-fuel!

The food was excellent for this fun little date night getaway from Helper to East Carbon. The owners were super sweet and very welcoming to us. It’s worth the drive. We will definitely be coming back. We had the fried dumplings for an appetizer and for dinner the house special fried rice and chicken lo mein.

Nice people and good Taiwanese food. The other day she prepared a plate of pork, chicken, and shrimp with vegetables. It was delicious.

My wife and I ate there for a lunch date this week. Ordering and actually getting the food was very fast. I've never had Taiwanese before and I was expecting tastes similar to Chinese places I've eaten at. To my surprise, I was blown away at the delicious flavors of the Pineapple Shrimp Lo-Mein and the Orange Peel Chicken. The Lo-Mein had an apple cinnamon flair to it that was just delicious. The Orange Peel was scrumptious as well. My wife and I kept eating off each other's plate as we loved both meals! At first I was worried the dishes wouldn't be enough to fill me as I eat a lot (my wife less so), but they gave free refills of the rice which I used to sop up the sauces, it was so very delicious. I've been waiting for an Asian option in East Carbon whenever I come visit and now we have it. The staff was super friendly. Overall I highly recommend eating here!

Parking: Plenty of parking, its just gravel parking but lots of open slots.

Kid-friendliness: Loved the music they played while eating there, very family friendly. Decor was cool and since it was family owned it was so cool to see the whole family involved in the service.

Authentic Taiwanese owners that are from Taiwan. Food tastes like real Taiwanese food. Love the owners and their family. Well worth the stop on the way to or from Moab. Liked the homemade egg rolls, orange peel chicken, and shrimp n crab lo mein.

I really love Asian food and this was probably the best Taiwanese I've ever had. The soy-based marinades had a subtly sweet flavor instead of the off taste that many other restaurants and store bought marinades have. I will definitely be coming back.
