Absolutely terrible food. At 1230 on a Friday they didn't have chicken cooked. Very dirty, food on wall. Very smokey inside. Waitress had no clue what she was doing. Very over priced.

Under new management and not what it used to be. It was our favorite restaurant in Eden. Now it's very expensive for mediocre food and small portions.

Asked for tacos this is what I got, no beans cheese nothing to go with it very disappointing.

First off the positives. Great view of the mountains to the east while sitting at the tables outside. Food was at least warm. Young lady serving was very kind. Food was reasonably priced for the location. Chips and salsa were decent.Have had issues with flies swarming the outdoor tables at this location previously, but weren’t as bad this time. Just noticed a couple flies swarming the tables.Cons: Most of the tables outside were dirty unfortunately, so we picked the least dirtiest table to sit at. Seemed as though they were understaffed as there was a table that still had plates and food sitting there from previous customers, and it was still there when we left. Food was a bit bland. Had the steak chimichanga plate. The red sauce seemed a bit old/stale, and not great flavor. Not a lot of meat in the chimichanga mostly filled with beans. I would never reorder that dish again. My wife had the chicken/steak fajitas, her go to at all Mexican restaurants. She said it was just okay. Presentation looked good, just lacked in taste. Dishes were not served with sour cream or guacamole, which was unusual. They didn’t have guac, as they said they were having a hard time getting avocados. Waitress was also the reception gal, and didn’t check on our table much, even with it not being busy. No refill on our drinks until it was time to pay the check.Overall, likely will not be going back to this location. Was not very busy at 5:00-6:00 on a Friday evening. Only one other customer besides.

My wife and I visited for lunch. We were the only 2 people in the restraunt. I ordered shrimp quesadillaa, which was supposed to come with sour cream and guacamole. It came without, and I asked for it from our server. She was quite annoyed but brought them to me. I got a melon ball scoops worth of both. My wife's shrimp tacos were simply tortilla, shrimp, and lettuce.This was one of the only Mexican restraunts I have ever been to that didn't provide chips and salsa. As unripe as their pico was on the quesadilla, that was probably a good thing.Don't waste your time or your money visiting here. It is overpriced and the food isn't that good.

Dry Dry Dry food. Friday night and the food tasted like it was from Monday. Meat portions were poor. My carne asada fries tasted like old bacon bits and Walmart cheese on cheap fries for 15 dollars ugh. Not going back.

I love Don Pollos!, Its a great food for a great price. Chicken is amazing!! We come to Eden twice a year and is always on the list of places to eat. Friendly family style restaurant!

Showed up on a Saturday night at 7:15 PM and they said they were not seating anymore people. Had quite a few empty tables. Wish I could have had some food.

I am not a paid review we own a different restaurant up here.Issac was our server and was alone tonight and he had probably 8 tables and was quite fast for being alone. My wife and I got the mol bowl and it was super amazing and the taste was truly authentic we felt. My sister got a burrito and loved it I would highly recommend. Staffing is a huge issue everywhere so just be patient and enjoy the food.

Never again, this is a local restaurant of which there are not many choices. We have tried this place half dozen times kept thinking we would give them another chance, never again. First time they got the order right, not once since. Missing items, over charged and poor food portions and quality. Last time we were done eating and ask the waitress for check. She said I will get it when done cleaning up. It took her 20 minutes as we sat there watching here. We were one of only two parties on a Saturday afternoon. How rude. Order was wrong and could never figure out how to fix it. Never again, too bad when it one of 4 or 5 choices. Not sure how this place has 4 stars, maybe folks that work there or are paid for reviews????

Fantastic experience! I had the Chile Verde smothered burrito and it's amazing. Typically, I'll skip the beans, but the way they're prepared had me cleaning my plate!
