Disappointed and Frustrated Experience I called Mad Moose Cafe ahead of time to confirm they served breakfast and was told it was available until 11:30. I arrived well before that time, but we were given lunch menus and told breakfast was no longer being served because the owner decided they were “too busy.” No heads-up, no sign, just a last-minute change. I ordered a BLT instead. The place was busy, but we were seated right away, so I expected a reasonable wait. After an hour of waiting with no update, the server returned to say the owner had now told her they were out of bacon. I had to change my order again and ended up waiting another 30 minutes — an hour and a half total for a simple meal. There was no apology from management, no comp, no discount — nothing to acknowledge the poor communication, lack of follow-through, or wasted time. This felt like a place overwhelmed and poorly managed, where decisions change on a whim and the customer experience takes a backseat. Disappointed and won’t be returning.
The food was good and sitting on the patio on a summer day is great. It was a fun lunch spot.
Loved our meal! Loved the service! Everyone was super friendly ands Evynn, our server, was friendly and attentive. Great dining experience!
Great burgers and atmosphere. I love sitting on the patio and enjoying the scenery. Service is usually pretty good but is occasionally iffy.
My wife and I and another couple enjoyed the Mad Moose Cafe in Eden. The food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive and helpful. This is an excellent place to just kick back and have a cold drink, a morning coffee or lunch or dinner. No pretense-- come as you are and enjoy what you want. You'll love the food and the scenery-- we sat outside and really felt comfortable. Will get hot as the summer goes, so be aware of that, but they have parasol umbrella over the tables that can be adjusted to keep the direct sun away. We loved the Mad Moose Cafe and will definitely go again!
We are out of town visitors.
This was a great local place to try! We had a table of 7 and they are food with large parties and kids.
They have a small kids menu and a good sized dinner menu. I had the vegetarian sandwich and added turkey it was AMAZING. The French dip was great and the Greek salad was authentic with all cucumbers as the base.
We went on a Friday night and it took a longer time to get our food but we were given complimentary bread for our wait.
Give it a try!
There are clearly too many tables and not enough waitstaff. Do not seat customers if you don’t have the time or staff to serve them properly. Forcing guests to seat themselves only to prioritize other tables based on potential tips is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Don’t go here if you like decent service.
I have been a fan of Mad Moose Cafe for quite some time, often recommending it to friends and family due to their consistently great food. However, my recent experiences have left me feeling disappointed and hesitant to recommend the place anymore.
During my last two visits, the service has noticeably declined. Upon arrival, I was instructed to seat myself and was assured that a waiter would follow shortly. Unfortunately, I witnessed a group that arrived after me receive prompt service—water and menus—while I waited at my table for about ten minutes before a waiter finally approached me.
After receiving my water and menu, the waiter took the order of the other group and proceeded to check on other tables, leaving me waiting with no follow-up. After a lengthy wait without any acknowledgement, I decided to leave in frustration.
While I still believe the food at Madd Moose is good, the lack of sufficient wait staff to accommodate the number of tables is a significant issue. The overall experience, unfortunately, does not justify the wait, and I cannot continue to recommend this restaurant to others as I once did.
I hope Madd Moose addresses these service issues soon, as they have potential but need to improve the guest experience.
Visiting Eden and everyone told us to grab a meal at the Mad Moose Cafe and now I see why!!
What a great restaurant. The food was excellent and very diverse in offerings, we loved some of the more unique dishes. Not just the run of the mill foods here. We thought that the staff were all super friendly and patient with us. We had a large group and a baby and they never made us feel in the way.
Check out Mad Moose Cafe next time you visit Eden!

Although the food here is pricey, the burgers and atmosphere totally make up for it.
Every meal comes with a cookie and the cookies are honestly 10/10. They give you a pretty good portion and the burgers here are definitely unique.
I would eat here again.
P.S get the onion rings, you won’t regret it.

Great food and atmosphere. We enjoyed their Bleu Bacon Burger, French Dip, and the best Chai lattes ever, drizzled with cinnamon and honey. Sandwiches come with your choice of fries or salad and a cookie, or upgrade for sweet potato fries or onion rings. It's a fantastic place to spend a relaxing Sunday evening meal.

3 Stars. Pricy for a semi raw Burger (Pineview Burger) that I could not finish. Medium rare is for steaks. Wife's Pinanni was great. Fries (Regular and Sweet Potato) were very good and fresh made.
Everything here was delicious, the service was awesome, and the view is perfect!
