Great tour of the ‘real deal’ of an actual, local distillery. New World does not source their products from other distilleries. Chris does a fantastic job of explaining the process from fermenting, to distilling, and aging to get to the final product, whether it’s their gin, tequila, or bourbon. Do the tour and get a small tasting before buying. It’s all good, but the gin is phenomenal. I didn’t take too many photos and was careful to not be too invasive or disruptive to the tour. The New World Distillery is in a beautiful mountain valley with delicious spirits. Ashley, one of the owners, was very kind and knowledgeable about their products. I loved the rotating batch of the season which was an apple brandy, it was absolutely delicious! They also have a fun store with lots of unique distillery gifts. Would highly recommend checking out NWD:)

Ashley was super informative and friendly.
We came at a time when tours weren’t offered but loved listening to her stories and learning more about the different spirits. Oomaw gin is fantastic so we had to go back for more. Thanks for the t-shirt!!

Mission Accomplished: I'm now an official "spirits geek" after taking the distillery tour at New World Distillery. Whether you are interested in tequila/vodka/gin or just looking for a fun activity that's less than two hours, I highly recommend a visit.

It's worth the drive (there's lots of parking) for anyone living in the Ogden or Eden area, or visiting the mountains. Not only was Chris's tour super informative and interactive, he made sure to answer every question that came his way. Not to mention the spirits we tried were all top-notch.

A great experience all around, and now I have a favorite local spirits shop!

Fantastic tour! Chris is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his products (and the industry for that matter). I learned a lot and ended up buying two bottles because we liked them so much. We will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend the tour. Chris's passion for what he does really comes through and it makes the experience lots of fun. Brought home the Oomaw gin and my family loved it.

Excellent place to visit! We just walked in and Ashley took care of us. It was great talking with her and we purchased a couple of bottles. You really should check this place out!

Really cool little distillery in Eden with a ton of unique spirits. They offer tours along with tastings of their different products starting at just a buck!

Took a tour with the co-owner and distiller, Chris. It was fantastic. He shares the whole process, including what he does that is the same and different as other distillers. I learned a lot about agave spirits that I did not know. He was very open to questions. All around a great experience and well worth the time and effort to get to this distillery.

I think they've gone out of business. They won't answer their calls and won't return messages. Be very careful of this business.*Update* The owner posted a review response quickly and has yet to return my calls and emails. I told them in my email I would update my 1 star review as soon as they responded. No response yet.**Update** Someone from the business finally responded to my emails saying the owner has been out of town for the past several months. I promised I would change my review as soon as someone responded. Once their commitment is fulfilled, I will change the review to 5 stars and will change my whole review. I appreciate the effort.

Our group had a fantastic time at New World Distillery! Chris was so knowledgeable and passionate about the product and the process, and our group learned a lot. He welcomed all our questions and had detailed, expert answers. I’m not even much of a spirit drinker, but there was no pressure to finish each pour for the tasting, and they were well worth the experience. I definitely recommend this place as an interesting group outing for family or visitors. Thanks so much!!

Passion. Quality. Flavor. The TOUR: We did the $20 tour, reasonably priced BUT lots of standing during the tour so wear the right shoes for that. There are some seats, but it is really designed as a standing tour so plan accordingly. The tour was educational and gave me a greater appreciation for what actually goes into each bottle. A great opportunity to learn more about distilling and/or get a behind the scenes look at what goes into each bottle - not to mention the tasting experience, I’d definitely recommend the tour. The TASTING: Smooth, yes. We tasted the vodka, tequila x 2, gin and cherry liqueur. The gin, be sure to smell it before u drink it. U can smell every herbally infused flavor (apologies if this is not the right vernacular description of how those flavors get there ?) - which I thought was pretty cool. I could mostly smell the ethanol for the tequila and vodka. I actually liked the cherry liqueur - thinking it would go great on my cheesecake ?. Both the tour and alcohol were well priced for what u get. Emphasis, again, on quality flavor. The whiskey was sold out and apparently sells out within and hour of release - get on their email list if that’s what u r looking for.Lots of parking. Nice restroom. Cozy space. The vibe is casual and welcoming. The owner radiated his passion for creating and continually improving their process, aiming for perfection in getting the best and most flavor into each bottle. That was nice to see ?.
