The chicken fried steak was one of the best I've had. We are from south Texas. Chicken fried steak is a staple there. This one was up there with the best. Melissa was our waitress. She is amazing. This restaurant is old style, with great customer service. I didn't get the names of the other staff, but I heard the staff interact with the other customers. Every staff member was overly friendly. Something you don't find in today's world. This is our first time stopping Temonton. We have passed here in prior trips, but never stopped. If we come this way again this is a definite stop.

The halibut, sweet corn, house-made brownie, and the scone were all very good. (The corn on the cob was sweet and tender.) The roast beef, mashed potatoes, dinner roll and green beans (no bacon) were good, but barely above average. The breading on the onion rings was very good, but the onions were mushy and without texture. They have a very extensive menu, and we will stop there to try something else if we're in the area again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered turkey avocado sandwich and tater tots.
Sandwich was good, nothing amazing.
Tater tots served were a litteral handful, I can honestly say least I have ever seen/consumed to date.
There are places to cut costs, this should not be one of them. One and done for me, never again.
Feels like home here...the wait staff is friendly and interacts with many of the local customers. Wide selection of food, all prepared well and ample quantities. I enjoyed lunches and a 3-egg omelette which came with pancakes and potatoes.

Absolutely loved this place!! The owner, Cami, was so gracious and welcoming. The food was outstanding! And our server, Delaney, was on top of everything, and with a smile! Unfortunately we were just passing thru town and don’t know when we will be back. Do your self a favor and make it to JC’s when passing thru Elwood UT!
