Big Mountain Lodge | Rentals and Adventures

What a beautiful and quiet little town.

We were heading to the swell around 6:30 p.m. and encountered heavy rains. No way where we going to set up a camp in a tent in the rain so we ended up finding Big Mountain Lodge. We dropped in the staff was very kind and we ended up in a cabin. Cabin number 22. Great little cabin awesome shower & bathroom, really nice accommodations. We're so glad once we checked into the cabin it started pouring. Tomorrow is a new day.

Place is very low-key and a gem. Store is also right on the site which makes the things convenient .

I want to give a shout out to big mountain lodge for taking grate care of family and friends that stay there when visiting.. your staff are grate people.. clean rooms, really good food. This place has become a family tradition. I highly recommend this place for any adventures or vacation stay, You will not be disappointed.

We have spent a few nights randomly working here in town. The staff is great! The fact there is a pool table, air hockey and foosball is awesome! 1 of our cabins was gorgeous tonight’s needs a little update expecially the transition strip when coming in but all in all it’s clean comfortable there’s food and the gas station and there is cornhole too. I’d stay here again and again! And IS THERE A WIFI PASSWORD?

Clean, nice and all you need. The town is quiet and delightful. Staff was super friendly. We were allowed to check in early as our room was already clean. Make sure you pay attention to their hours of operation as their store is basically the only game in town. Food options in the town are limited. Ferron is quiet and a great place to use as your jumping off point for the Swell. This lodge is in a perfect spot.

The coffee ☕️ here is the best place to have that good cup of coffee ☕️. Home made breakfast very yummy

The cabins are very cute and clean. Staff is friendly and gave great tips on nearby trails for ATV riding. We will definitely be back.

I was there for nostalgia. I lived in Ferron as a kid. And it was nice to have a good place to stay. Bed was comfy. We watched TV and played cards for a little bit of our trip. It was nice to have a roomy table there. We checked in pretty early than ran out to Millsite. We came back and ate at the Grub Box. Food was affordable and good. Then we sat on the bench outside our front door to relax. It was fun to see things going on around town. Everyone is so kind! The town is still amazing! It’s a great place for someone along the Wasatch front to enjoy a little getaway. I wish there was a breakfast place in town. But we could have easily grabbed groceries and made it in our place. The stove was adorable. Fridge was clean.

We stayed in one of the cabins and they were so nice, private, spacious, and CLEAN (that's a big deal to me?). I loved getting up in the morning and going to the store for my latte. Highly recommend. Excellent location and friendly staff.
