I was pretty disappointed by the food. I wanted to like it, but overall was not a fan and probably wouldn’t go back. I went there to avoid the crowds of nearby restaurants, but this was not the best. Not a lot of options out there though. I liked the service and the atmosphere though, as well as a mini park near outdoor seating.

Best shakes at bear lake!!! They use fresh everything including raspberries which made the shakes far better than all the rest we tried! Their tater tots were also top tier 🙌🏼😋 SO GOOD!!

The burgers are the best in Bear Lake. Reasonable prices and quick service. We hit Merlin’s every time we are at Bear Lake and we are never disappointed. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a very nice indoor place to eat. .

Best mushroom burger and shakes I’ve ever had. The customer service was stellar. Josh is amazing. One of the coolest decorated restaurants I’ve ever seen. Definitely worth stopping at if you’re at Bear Lake.

Ended up here after the BBQ place next door ran out of food. No complaints! Everything was hot and fresh and the buns they use are excellent. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich; the rest of my party ordered burgers; and we all had various permutations of fried potato. The line was a little hectic, but it was after 6 on a Saturday in July, and it went quick, and our food came out quickly as well.

Had the pleasure of stopping through Bear Lake with my mom just looking for a spot to eat before we went hiking and I have to say I've eaten at quite a few places in bear lake but none have impressed me like merlin's. The food was amazing, the best raspberry shake in town, and the service was stellar. 10/10 must try!!! We will definitely be back!
