I've been here four times and have had two good experiences.
The burgers are okay. They may use 80/20 patties; so be careful of bones. I had a small bone fragment in my burger. The Alfredo was dry and bland, but may be improved by now.

Service was excellent with a great server and a clean, roomy diner atmosphere. Our party had a breakfast platter and the three bacon cheeseburgers and tots platters. The breakfast platter was delicious.

The burger, bacon, and bun were very large. Unfortunately the burgers were very rare, blood dripping, and unseasoned. There should be an option to have a choice of how the hamburger is cooked to not have rare meat.

Pretty yummy place lots of breakfast options along with lunch and dinner. The place could definitely use a little refresh and deep clean, but food was great.

Tried 3 times to give this restaurant a chance, but there will not be a 4th try. Waitress was friendly, but got my order of a BLT 1/2 wrong. When I tried to have it corrected, she was nowhere to be found, so I took the plate myself to the counter to be fixed. When she brought it back, it was worse than when I first got it. At this point I gave up as husband was almost done with his order of prime rib. Asked him for a bite, and can't figure out why he was eating it. The meat was well done (he ordered medium) and literally tasteless.
Waitress did take my meal off our ticket, but that didn't make my stomach stop growling from hunger.
Candi, if you read these reviews, please take them to heart. I would hate to see your restaurant fail due to incompetent cooks and waitstaff.

Didn't want to drive to salt lake but wanted something different then the usual out here so saw this place and all the good reviews and figured my family and I would give it a try. Unfortunately after tonight I learned why it's better to stick with what I know I like cause the service was terrible and the chicken fried chicken that I got was not good at all. It had absolutely no flavor and the gravy tasted like flour. I hate to leave a bad review and love to support local businesses but I also hate going somewhere based on reviews and having them be inaccurate.

Drove here to eat out of our way because of the reviews and had poor service and food. The country fried steak was bland. The traditional dip wasn’t too bad. The fries and fry sauce were the best honestly. But the service was not the greatest. First off, she wasn’t friendly at all. She wasn’t nice to us and was not personable. Threw extra napkins on our table and just walked away. Hopefully, our take home carrot cake is better at home. Might not go here again unfortunately because of the lack of service and food.

This is possibly the BEST restaurant I've ever been to! The meal was amazing, and the server was super attentive. No joke the bacon cheeseburger is the best one I've ever had! And I really appreciate the care they show toward family by having a decent baby changer, it isn't one of those hard plastic ones (my son fusses with those), but a wooden one with a pad and I felt like they care about the comfort of families. Definitely coming back the next time I'm in town!

Kid-friendliness: Good variety of kid friendly dishes (big portions, great for leftovers), diaper changing station is actually suited to kids and not the hard plastic changing station. The kid juice glasses are actually good sized cups with lids not just tiny cups.

The Outpost is hands down the best breakfast spot in town. Their omelettes are made with real eggs, the pancakes are freshly made, and they offer top-quality honey for your coffee. After experiencing The Outpost, I can't go back to iHop ever again.
