Highly recommend this place and the roast beef dip! The service was such a vibe, and our server Kevin was awesome! This is a small diner in Heber, and I was worried about the table size, but they kept a good pace and made sure we weren’t over crowded. I have never written a review so fast in my life. The charred onion dip and bacon Mac and cheese were bomb appetizers! Go get the roast beef though holy smokes!!! The au ju was soooooo by good!!!!

What can I say about the Back 40 that hasn't already been said? Great food, great spot, great service. The only gripe is that it gets busy, but that's because it's such a great place so obviously a lot of people will want to go. Highly recommend, but get there a little early. And get the tacos. You won't regret it.

It is a cute place and our server was nice. Bartender brought my ranch water over and it was great (also difficult to mess up tequila and soda water) I got the fried chicken. It had zero seasoning. One part was a breast, one a drumstick, and the other unidentifiable. Only one had meat to try and enjoy but again - not a lick of sauce or spice. The veggies were potentially out of a bag and al dente. Would have been better in a salad and again, no flavor. The only thing I ate were the mashed potatoes. I felt bad because service and atmosphere was nice but I paid $22 for a side of mashed potatoes.

AMAZING......crazy good meals....We got the special tonight... bison short ribs with broccolini and mashed potatoes.....was outstanding. The meat was so tender, literally fell off the bones and the sauce, so so good! We also chose the salmon with blood orange marmalade over mushroom risotto, with sundried tomatoes and green beans. We sat at the bar and watched the "action" in the kitchen as well as the hustle of the staff. What a well tuned machine, all working together and having fun! Lots of good energy, while not missing a beat! Met the owner and told him how impressed we were...he is so nice and takes such pride in his "family" as he should! Very rarely do you get the whole package...so so glad we stopped in! Thank you, so hope to be back in the area again someday!
