I’ve been a loyal customer at Ichiban for years and have always loved the miso soup and sushi—it’s been one of my favorite spots in Heber. I usually eat here multiple times a week, so it really disappoints me to have to write this. On more than one occasion, I’ve found hair in my soup. Today, we picked up egg drop soup to go and was disturbed to find two black hairs in it. As a platinum blonde, I know these weren’t mine. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time it’s happened, which makes it even more concerning. I want to be clear: I’m only writing this because I truly value this restaurant and want to keep coming here. But food safety and cleanliness need to be addressed. If this issue can be taken care of, I would be more than happy to update this review to five stars.

I was very disappointed with the sashimi and maki. The fish was not fresh. Ambiance is non-existent. Wait staff didn't speak a word of English. I did not try their Chinese food, so no comment on that.

I took my 11 year old son to lunch here on a Friday at around noon. The parking lot was empty so I wasn’t sure if they were open. We went in and they sat us immediately. The waitress arrived quickly to take our order. My son ordered the black dragon sushi roll and I ordered the lemon chicken and ham fried rice. My chicken can suspiciously fast. It was out faster than my son’s roll. The chicken was pretty dry and chewy. The ham fried rice was ok. The ham flavor was a little over powering. My son said he really like his roll. The restaurant was dead but still pretty dirty. The walls were dirty. The ceiling was covered in dust. I could ignore all that with excellent food and a busy staff but really not great to see. I would not recommend this place unfortunately.
