On The Rocks Bar

The entire experience was wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit. I rated the sound level as moderate. We could communicate effectively which was nice. Better than most restaurants I go to. Thank you! BTW. Change the top level from Energetic to Loud on your survey. It isn't fun eating in a Energetic/Loud environment. Restaurants who thrive and creating that kind of atmosphere make it impossible to have a decent conversation with members of the same party and should be penalized.

This is a difficult review to write. I came to this place to hear the incredible MADAME MACINTOSH perform, and have a drink and dinner.
Service, initially, was abysmal. We were not given the correct menus. We sat at a table for 20 minutes and no server ever showed up. We moved to the bar and for six songs (30 minutes) tried to get the bartenders attention…. with no success. Had Madame Macintoshes music not been so incredible, we would have left. I was literally ready to give up on ever getting a drink or dinner… when ALE finally noticed us and immediately brought some water. Then a guy named CARLOS asked if he could help. I told him I was super angry that we had been neglected for so long… and he immediately began giving us EXCELLENT service. He had drinks to us in minutes and a delicious chicken schnitzel before the drinks were done, wirh a second round in the way. I’m going to give the 5 stars because Ale, Carlos and Madame Macintosh really worked hard to make the evening magical…and it truly was. It is a beautiful, comfortable place and the vibe is lovely.. But I have never in my life felt so neglected by a bartender. I would recommend to anyone who goes here not to even bother trying to get the bartenders attention. He apparently is “too busy” to do his job.

Great spot for a relaxed meal with an amazing view. The soups are fantastic! Rich, comforting, and clearly made from scratch, perfect after a day in the mountains. The service is friendly without feeling rushed. A great choice for a cozy, casual, dinner with scenery to match!

Comfortable, bright, quiet surroundings. The chicken pot pie and shrimp tater tot app was delicious. Also enjoyed the Slovenian wine

Came here because I heard their Old Fashions was amazing. It did not disappoint! Cherry our bartender was amazing at her craft and her customer service was top notch! Definitely will come again!

Nice restaurant within Black Rock Resort, casual, comfortable setting, distant view of snow covered mountains in winter. Here for lunch, I had the bison burger w/waffle fries and my partner had the pepperoni pizza. The burger was medium rare, just the way I like it, and was very tasty and filling. The pizza, equally tasty, and big enough for two. Service was great up until we finished our meal, our server disappeared and we had to ask another server for our check. As we enjoyed the food, will be worth another visit.

Our meal and beverages were awesome. They were only surpassed by the service which was, as always, phenomenal! We'll be back for sure

The food was incredible. Rack of Lamb was second to none. Great sauce. Salmon succotash, veggies cooked to perfection and great presentation. Our server Kirako kept the flow on track for a great overall experience. We'll be back.

Great experience at On the Rocks Bar. The bison burger was excellent, the atmosphere felt nicely upscale, and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely return.

Overlook Restaurant is a great restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is wonderful. The entire staff is professional, kind, and attentive.

Expresso martinis are out old this world
