My husband and I love Thai food and have been to many restaurants in several states. Based off the high review ratings, we were expecting better food and a better experience. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. When we walked in, they didn’t seat us but pointed to a table and told us where to sit. We ordered potstickers for an appetizer and red curry and massaman curry for our main dishes. The potstickers were fine, but nothing to write home about. The best part about them was definitely the sauce which was actually quite a yummy Thai chili dipping sauce. We orders the curries at level 3 spice level. The massaman was a good spice level and it was okay for flavor. The red curry was bland and just really spicy. We love spicy, but it was a bit much. It needed a little salt, but if you put any on—it pretty much just drowned out the flavor. Furthermore, they brought out the small servings of rice about 10 minutes before the curry, which was strange. It was cool and getting a bit dry by the time the curry came, which turned out okay because the curry was hot. It was just strange, though. At the end, they brought us the receipt and told us to pay up front. My husband went to pay and had to wait a bit because the server was sitting at a table playing on her phone. It was slow when we were there—but even more reason to give us their attention, right? If you’re into Thai food and good service, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Tasty Thai food and nice owners! We chose takeout during the pandemic and because we were just passing through the town, but would go back again if we were in town again! Ordered the Pad Thai, Pad Keemao, and Mango Sticky Rice dessert! Would recommend all 3!

This was THE BEST THAI we have had in a long time!!! We are so glad this spot opened up. There is construction when you pull up right now. But don't be fooled, pick up is easy and it looked like dine in was too. Don't miss one of the best restaurants in Heber! DON'T LET IT GET AWAY!

I love this place. Living in Kamas, Thai food has been very hard to find until recently and Tawan Thai is one of the best. The food is amazing and the owner and staff are very friendly. Easy take out, very tasty!I ordered to go and it was delicious! I will warn you that the area/building is under construction so I had to pull a quick turn and park in back.I ordered the Pad Thai and it was delicious! The flavor was light and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I typically add soy sauce or sriracha to everything but their noodles did not need it. I asked for no peanuts just because I don't like the texture. They made it just to my liking and then some.I will be sure to stop in and support them especially during this difficult time. Just a short beautiful drive to Heber from SLC.

We had the pho and the panang curry (Thai hot). We love Thai and this is the first time in Utah the curry was actually spicy enough for my husband. We’ll for sure be back and can’t wait to try other items.

Excellent service, delicious food, fair prices and generous portion sizes. The pad thai (a good litmus test for most Thai food fans) automatically highlights Tawan Thai's fantastic quality. Their crispy noodle curry is another one of my favorites, and the mango sticky rice is a must have. On my last trip I ordered the red curry with beef, the spice level of which did not disappoint, without washing everything else out and becoming a one-note flavor. Someone in my party ordered the pineapple fried rice and allowed me to try a bite. Needless to say I'm going to have to get myself a full order next time. As Heber's (currently) only Thai restaurant, rest assured that you are not only getting a passable Thai option, but a great one.

The soup was amazing in coconut milk, the fried rice, the fried tofu.... everything was just right and healthy! Thank you for your great food and service!

We devoured our food before we could even take pictures, haha!! It was so good! The drunken noodles were flavorful, and the yellow curry was delicious; the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Definitely a recommendation for others, and we'll be going back for more!
