This is the only Thai joint in the Heber valley area, but don't let that keep you from trying it out if you find yourself nearby! We loved to Tom gha soup. The broth was not too thick, lots of flavor and stuffed with yummy veggies and meat. The pad Thai (we have small kids, so we're boring) could have used double the sauce. Otherwise it was okay. The pad see ew was plentifully sauced and quite easily the star of the show here. Other notes, we ordered these 3 things plus pot stickers for 6 people (4 adults, 2 big kids) and it was plenty of food for all of us. Their online ordering system was easy answer the food was carefully packaged mostly with reusable Tupperware (bonus) to avoid spills. Service was quick and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The service was horrible. Our waiter took our order and then sat at the table behind us with his friends and we weren't ever helped. I got my meal and then my spouse waited for 30 minutes and then they informed us they were out of what he ordered. We ended up leaving after an hour and a half without my spouse getting his meal. Food that we did get was mediocre.

I'm sure Ive had worse dinning experiences but I can't remember when. The sign on the door states make a reservation, so I did, it took 15 min to get seated, ok I can live with that, took some time to get waited on but things where busy. Thirty min after ordering they brought out one of the four meals then 10 min later they brought one more, the other two we never seen. We spent an hour and a half waiting, it was as if we where invisible, I asked two different servers but got no response, however they did remember to bring the check. The food there is ok at best but certainly not good enough to waste my time here again.

My husband and I love Thai food and have been to many restaurants in several states. Based off the high review ratings, we were expecting better food and a better experience. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. When we walked in, they didn’t seat us but pointed to a table and told us where to sit. We ordered potstickers for an appetizer and red curry and massaman curry for our main dishes. The potstickers were fine, but nothing to write home about. The best part about them was definitely the sauce which was actually quite a yummy Thai chili dipping sauce. We orders the curries at level 3 spice level. The massaman was a good spice level and it was okay for flavor. The red curry was bland and just really spicy. We love spicy, but it was a bit much. It needed a little salt, but if you put any on—it pretty much just drowned out the flavor. Furthermore, they brought out the small servings of rice about 10 minutes before the curry, which was strange. It was cool and getting a bit dry by the time the curry came, which turned out okay because the curry was hot. It was just strange, though. At the end, they brought us the receipt and told us to pay up front. My husband went to pay and had to wait a bit because the server was sitting at a table playing on her phone. It was slow when we were there—but even more reason to give us their attention, right? If you’re into Thai food and good service, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Tasty Thai food and nice owners! We chose takeout during the pandemic and because we were just passing through the town, but would go back again if we were in town again! Ordered the Pad Thai, Pad Keemao, and Mango Sticky Rice dessert! Would recommend all 3!

This was THE BEST THAI we have had in a long time!!! We are so glad this spot opened up. There is construction when you pull up right now. But don't be fooled, pick up is easy and it looked like dine in was too. Don't miss one of the best restaurants in Heber! DON'T LET IT GET AWAY!

I love this place. Living in Kamas, Thai food has been very hard to find until recently and Tawan Thai is one of the best. The food is amazing and the owner and staff are very friendly. Easy take out, very tasty!I ordered to go and it was delicious! I will warn you that the area/building is under construction so I had to pull a quick turn and park in back.I ordered the Pad Thai and it was delicious! The flavor was light and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I typically add soy sauce or sriracha to everything but their noodles did not need it. I asked for no peanuts just because I don't like the texture. They made it just to my liking and then some.I will be sure to stop in and support them especially during this difficult time. Just a short beautiful drive to Heber from SLC.
Excellent service, the food is delicious and the ingredients are high end. The best Thai we have had in a long time. Ordering online is so easy. The quality of the meat is excellent. We will be back very soon. We hope they deliver soon!

We did take out tonight and the staff at Tawan Thai "hit it out of the park". When we couldn't figure out how to make the online order system work, we just called. It sounded pretty busy (Friday night), but they said it would be ready in 25 minutes. Ed's vegetarian so we always order tofu but always ask for extra veggies on all of our dishes. My god, tonight it was SO good. Thanks guys.

Best Thai we've had in a while. We got the Pad Thai, Mango Curry and Green Curry. Serving sizes are big as well. We got a 3 for spice which was stronger then we expected. Next time we will do a 2. Overall very good Thai!!
